Born in 1993, Jordan Spieth has gone on to become one of the PGA Tour’s stars in recent years, notching a number of tournament victories, including three major titles.

Spieth made his name on the PGA Tour two weeks before his 20th birthday when he won the John Deere Classic. He defeated Zach Johnson and David Hearn in a five-hole playoff, becoming the first teenager to win on the Tour since 1931.

Spieth has gone on to win 16 times during his professional career, including three major victories. The first of those came at the Masters Tournament in 2015, where he became the first wire-to-wire winner at Augusta National in almost 40 years. He also won the US Open two months later, before lifting the Claret Jug in 2017 for his third major crown. The PGA Championship is the only major that Spieth needs to complete the Grand Slam, an event where he finished runner-up in 2015.

Spieth has also enjoyed success on the team stage, as part of a formidable partnership with close friend Justin Thomas. He has played in five Ryder Cups, winning twice, and has been on the winning side in all four of his Presidents Cup appearances.
