NCG’s Equipment Awards 2018
Best golf clubs 2018: Putters
1. TaylorMade Spider Tour Red
I’ve dabbled with a few this year but this one just seems to work best for me. I like the way it has no alignment and it just allows me to keep things simple.
Again, no surprise to me that so many tour players have opted to use this model in 2018.

2. Odyssey O-works Red #7
I’ve long been a fan of the #7 headshape but the added technology and improved looks of the O-works range make this my favourite to date.
It seems to offer blade-like precision but also plenty of stability and forgiveness.

3. Ping Sigma 2 Valor
This is a model I put into play for the last couple of rounds in 2018 and the signs were positive.
It’s quite lively off the face but is incredibly stable and sits really nicely behind the ball. The adjustable shaft length works really well and will be a valuable fitting tool for retailers and consumers.
