NCG’s Equipment Awards 2018
Best golf clubs 2018: Fairway woods
1. TaylorMade M4
I could probably use this instead of a driver. A good 15 yards longer than any other model we tested. Very easy to launch with incredible ball speed. TaylorMade have been ahead of the game with fairway woods for a while now.
Our full review of the M4 3-wood can be found here.
2. Ping G400
I did have this in my bag for much of the early season and it worked really well for me. But then I loaned it to a friend and didn’t have the heart to ask for it back when I saw how well it was working for him. Great off the tee and the deck with a lovely feel off the face.

3. Cobra F9 Tour
I’m not supposed to talk about this one too much but it was a club that really stood out for me at the F9 launch event.
It has a compact shape but is still quite user friendly. Great feel, awesome looks and really impressive distances.
More information on the Cobra F9 range can be found here.
