J.Lindeberg Ron Leather Golf Glove Review: Summary

5 star review
NCG SUMMARY

This J.Lindeberg glove is a great fit that has that premium feel associated with the best leather golf gloves. The various colour way options are also a great way of spicing up the traditionally most boring looking piece of golf equipment.

Made from AAA Cabretta Leather, it is soft, comfortable, durable, and maintains its shape superbly. This is a really well crafted golf glove that will serve you well for a number of rounds.

PROS

  • High-quality leather
  • Great ventilation
  • Soft feeling

CONS

  • A touch pricey

J.Lindeberg Ron Leather Golf Glove Review: First Impressions

Typically, I would associate a golf glove with being white but this navy coloured option was a nice change of pace. I have previously only ever gone with a plain white golf glove but this J.Lindeberg option was definitely an eye-opener visually.

Out of the packaging the glove just felt more premium than anything I had used before. The leather construction, badging and velcro strap all felt of higher quality.

J.Lindeberg Ron Leather Golf Glove Review: NCG Verdict

I’ll be honest, there has been times when I have preferred not to use a golf glove or haven’t seen the appeal of them. But, over recent years I now cannot play without wearing one and this J.Lindeberg Ron leather premium golf glove might be the best one I have used yet.

The finest AAA cabretta leather allows for an incredibly soft feel which just makes playing in it seamless. A perforated palm also helps to maximise performance and breathability by ensuring a good flow of air around the hand which prevents any overheating.

J.Lindeberg Ron Leather Golf Glove Review

I certainly found this to be the case as I felt nothing but comfort on each swing. Performance wise the grip was also excellent and allowed for a confident swing every time.

It is, however, a slightly higher priced option than other offerings. But you do get a bang for your buck when it comes to quality and I think it is worth the extra bit of money.

Overall, I really loved testing this J.Lindeberg golf glove. It is a great fit and offers plenty of grip for a confident swing. I was massively impressed with the feel of the premium leather and I would definitely recommended giving this a go.

There are a few different colour ways to choose from, including a regular white offering, if navy isn’t your preference.

About the author

Max Mcvittie

A bit of a late bloomer to the game of golf, Max fell in love with the sport when he attended Saturday coaching sessions down at his local golf club after being inspired by friends and family members.

Max has remained a member of Eden Golf Club in Carlisle for a number of years now as he looks to get his handicap down into single figures. Most of his golfing career has been spent battling a permanent slice off the tee, which has led to some ugly rounds.

Having studied at the University of Sunderland, Max is starting out his dream career in sports journalism. During his time at university, he picked up valuable work experience at Reach PLC, BBC Radio Cumbria and GiveMeSport, whilst also getting work published in the Teesside Live. He also spent time working at a local weekly newspaper, Eskdale and Liddesdale Advertiser, as a general news reporter partially covering some local sport just north of the border in Langholm.

Max has just started his journey with the NCG working as the assistant equipment editor. He looks forwarded to reviewing the latest golf equipment, taking up an interest in reviews when buying his first golf club, a Cleveland RTX wedge.

With his bag not going under too many changes throughout the last few years, Max carries an M3 driver, Titleist GT3 Fairway Wood, M2 hybrid, a set of M2 irons, Callaway Jaws wedges and a TaylorMade Spider putter. And yes, Max is a bit of a self-proclaimed TaylorMade fan boy.
