The Callaway Chrome golf ball range hosts some of the most used and recognised golf balls on the market. Now there is a new addition to the series for 2025 with the introduction of the Callaway Chrome tour Triple Diamond golf balls.

Callaway have produced some of the most premium and high quality golf balls available that a range of spin rates. It was an all-round successful year for the brand as two of last year’s majors were won by a golfer gaming a Callaway golf ball – Xander Schauffele.

The Technology

A more consistent and penetrating ball flight on each strike is promoted by the Callaway Chrome Tour Triple Diamond as it has a new seamless tour aero. Additionally, the ball has a new optimised core that produces a slightly firmer feel and increased ball speeds. As a result, the brand have no doubts that this ball will be fast, fast for added distance.

The cover is a high-performance tour urethane cover. This gives it a higher launch and lower spin on full shots with tour level control on the greens. An ideal option for those looking to improve their approach play. Low spin for long shots, high spin for shorter distances.

It’s fair to say that all this precision technology provides a ball which consistency, all tied up into this one particular package. Each detail has been constructed and engineered to ensure maxim performance from every shot type.

Callaway believe that, as a result of these technological developments, this is a ball designed for those looking for lower amounts of spin from their golf ball. This will help to optimise trajectory, maximize distance, and be more consistent into the wind.

Although the workability maybe a bit less than other models in the range, such as the Chrome Tour and Chrome Tour X golf balls, it does mean that a straighter ball flight will be promoted which, if your like me, certainly isn’t a downside.
