The Open winner is a Cleveland-Srixon staff player so he is contracted to use their ball, irons and wedges. Selected as one of six of Luke Donald’s Captain Picks for the 2025 Ryder Cup he eventually holed a putt on the 18th green to secure the Cup, cementing his place as a ‘talisman’ for the European team.
As well as his 2019 Open Championship win, Lowry has also claimed three PGA Tour wins. He also has six DP World Tour victories to his name and is very much a staple of European golf.
His 2026 has started well though he should have really claimed the Cognizant Classic but double bogeys on the 16th and 17th holes in the final round scuppered his chances of claiming a fourth PGA Tour victory.
