How much has Shane Lowry changed his equipment set-up since his Open win?

Shane Lowry is a Cleveland-Srixon staff player so is contracted to use their ball, irons and wedges – but he also had a Srixon driver in the bag for his famous win at Royal Portrush.

So how much has the Irishman’s bag changed since his win in 2019? Let’s take a closer look…

What’s in Shane Lowry’s bag?

Lowry had the Srixon ZX5 driver in play first his first major victory and it seems like a keeper as he still has it in play two years on.

He has swapped out his TaylorMade M4 3-wood for the new SIM2 Ti model and also added a TaylorMade M6 5-wood to his set-up.

Lowry loves a combo set in his irons. This year he has the Srixon ZX5 in his 4- and 5-iron before switching to the Srixon ZX7 irons for the rest of his set.

Previously he combed the Srixon Z 585 with the Srixon Z 785. He also carries a Srixon ZX Utility.

He chooses to carry just two wedges, and has put the Cleveland RTX ZipCore in play replacing his previous Cleveland RTX 4 models.

Lowry still carries the Odyssey Stroke Lab Exo 2-Ball putter which he has had in the bag since the start of the 2019 season.

Lowry also still has the Srixon Z Star XV golf ball in play.
