Evian Championship TV times and betting tips
The finest names in the women’s game descend on France this week for the fourth of the five LPGA majors. I’ve picked out some names I fancy to win the Evian Championship, but first here’s what you need to know…
Venue: Evian Resort, France
Date: 22-25 July 2021
Course stats: Par 71; 6,527 yards
Course summary: The Evian resort is a strategists haven, with tight fairways and plenty of trouble lurking at every turn. Thick rough and fast greens will also pose problems for players, who can expect a true major championship test this week.
Purse: $4.5 million
Defending champion: Jin Young Ko (-15)

Evian Championship betting tips
Bazza’s Banker: Brooke Henderson @ 33/1 with Bet365
Having already won a major championship at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship back in 2016, Henderson has a great chance to double her tally this week. In her last five visits to the Evian Resort, Henderson has four top-25 finishes, including two in the top 10. Her approach play is also second to none, ranking 1st on tour for Greens-in-regulation. That is a key measure for success here, and with 10 careers wins to her name already, I like Henderson’s chances.
The outsider: Esther Henseleit @ 55/1 with Bet365
Henseleit seems massively overpriced for this in my opinion, especially as she arrives in France off the back of consecutive fourth place finishes. In terms of major pedigree, Henseleit is relatively new to this stage, but a T15 finish at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship is certainly encouraging. The young German also ranks 14th for Stroke Average this season on the LPGA Tour, so expect big things at a big price.
The longshot: Jennifer Kupcho @ 66/1 with Bet365
After finishing as runner-up here in 2019, Kupcho will certainly be looking to go one better and I like her chances to do just that. This track is clearly one that suits her game, ranking 8th for Greens-in-regulation this season on the LPGA Tour. That will be invaluable on this tight, awkward course – as will her strong recent form. If Kupcho can get in the mix early, we could be in for plenty of value at this price.
