I love the sporty design and the bold colours and styling are giving me race car vibes. Hopefully the performance is just as fast and powerful as they looks.
And if the promotional clips with Cobra’s star names Bryson DeChambeau, Rickie Fowler, and Lexi Thompson are anything to go by, we won’t be disappointed.

Cobra LTDx drivers: The line-up
There are three models in the Cobra LTDx range, so what are the differences?
Cobra LTDx
Aimed at players who want maximum speed and distance but also value forgiveness and a straight ball flight, a neutral axis runs through the centre of the head to help the club resist twisting
Cobra LTDx Max
Combining maximum stability and draw in one club thanks to the moveable weight system for draw bias or increased forgiveness, while an adjustable hosel can add 7 more yards of draw bias
Cobra LTDx LS
With most of its weight positioned low and forward to create low spin, faster ball speeds, and a more workable ball flight which will suit the more skilled players with faster swing speeds. An adjustable weight system fine tunes trajectory
Cobra LTDx Max Women’s
An additional women’s offering in its own unique black and elderberry colourway

Cobra LTDx drivers: The technology
A big story here is the combination of high MOI (5,200) and zero CGna. This means the centre of gravity of the club sits on the neutral axis that runs across the middle of the head helping the club resist twisting on centred strikes.
The full range features Pwr-Cor technology. This is a combination of multi-material internal and external weights which help move the weight and CG into the most optimal position for each model.
Talking of multi-material construction the clubhead features 30% more carbon than their predecessor to create a lighter and stronger chassis for maximum stability.

The internal T-Bar chassis has also been redesigned to bring more weight low to the ground and to the perimeter to lower CG and increase MOI.
We also see a new club face with a variable-thickness design called HOT Face – Highly Optimised Topography which features 15 different zones to maximise ball speeds across a larger surface area. These zones create visual peaks and valleys, like a topography map – which will explain the name.

Cobra LTDx Driver review: How do they perform?
We’ve got the low down on the technology, but just how well do the new Cobra LTDx drivers perform? I’ve got my hands on all three to check out the performance and see how the different models differ.

Straight away I loved the shaping of the drivers behind the ball. They sit great and all three look almost identical so you can made your model decision on performance rather than visuals.
First up I hit the Cobra LTDx model straight off the block there was some seriously impressive performance that gave me great distance for my club head speed.
I thought I might not be able to control the Cobra LTDx LS but I was really pleasantly surprised. Yes the ball flight was slightly lower but that was probably better. The spin did drop down but probably not as much as I expected.
Finally the Max model can be set-up to provide maximum forgiveness or maximum draw bias. I put more weight at the back to boost performance. The ball flight was slightly more left bias but you could increase this further by swithcing the head weights and putting it in to the draw setting on the hosel.
When we compare all three models there were definitely a lot more similarities than I was expecting given the differences in technology especially the different weighting systems.
The Cobra LTDx LS just snuck out as the longest but only by two yards, it also gave me my longest shot of the test up at 240 yards.
More notable differences definitely came when we looked at the height with the LS launching much lower than the other two models. It also had 300rpm less spin on average than the LTDx and LTDx Max.
