Brian Harman and Scott Brown, two short but accurate players, contended here last year, so I quite like the chances of Chez Reavie (150/1, 7 places) who fits into the same profile.
The 36-year-old ranked 20th in approaches last season, and last week at the CIMB he played nicely from tee-to-green, hitting 75% of fairways and over 80% of greens, yet a cold putter was to blame for not making enough birdies on what was a birdie-fest of a golf course.
Scoring will be much more difficult this week and that will play into hands of Reavie, who offers a bit of each-way value at 150s.

At a slightly shorter price, Stewart Cink (100/1, 7 places) could build on a solid finish last week. The former Open champion hit the third most greens at the CIMB, and a third round 63 underlined the fact that he’s been playing nicely.
Cink ranked eighth in approaches last season and I suspect that he’ll be hoping that the wind does get up given that he’s won at Turnberry and twice at Harbour Town where the wind often plays a huge factor.
