The best of the best! We roundup the best electric trolley’s in 2026
Making golf more enjoyable and convenient is always an investment worth its while. One such avenue to explore is the world of electric golf trolleys.
They are after all, becoming increasingly popular among club golfers. I can’t remember the last time I played with someone who didn’t have a golf trolley.
With innovations in battery life, terrain handling, and smart features, the 2026 lineup offers more than just a way to lighten your load.
These remarkable innovations can turn the once physical task of hauling your set of clubs around the course into a walk in the park.
With a wide range of options available in the market, we’ve taken the liberty to examine some of the best electric trolleys 2026 has to offer. Here’s some of the best options for you to have a look at…
Navee have done a great job of creating a sleek looking trolley. It requires a lot of tech to make a remote trolley work and they’ve packed it all in well. The display is minimal, offering only battery percentages and speed, and for most golfers these key numbers are all they want.
It’s really simple to get up and down, fitting nicely into even a small car boot. It can be controlled via a remote or manually so you can easily swap between the two.
It is also at a fantastic price point – when compared to others in the market
PROS
Easy to set up
Folds down to a good size
Free app subscription worth £59.99
Sleek design
Great price point
CONS
Need to push to move when using manually to start

The remote is very simple to use, enough functions to do everything you need but not too many that you find yourself assessing the remote like it’s an old TV remote with buttons that never get pressed. There is 3 speed settings to set the trolley on a cruise control speed, or you can adjust the speed and direction with simple arrow buttons. There are also two options to stop, an abrupt version (for poor driving) and a smooth glide stop function for normal use.

It moves remarkably easy across all terrain, even when challenged with steep inclines and down slopes. There are two small wheels at the back to maintain balance when moving up the hill, which admittedly takes some getting used to as I leapt multiple times thinking it would topple, it never did. Even when faced with incline / decline areas of the course, the trolley maintains the speed set at which is very useful.
I am sure if you are in the market for a new electric trolley Stewart and it’s products are already on your radar. Based on my experience this product should definitely be considered. It is remarkably efficient to use around the course and makes for a very easy round of golf. The trolley is easy to set up and take down, as well as compact to store when you’re away from the golf course. If you’re on the look out for a new trolley, we’d certainly recommend considering the VERTX remote.
PROS
Smart & modern looking
Easily foldable & compact
45 hole battery life
CONS
Bulkier remote than competitors

The Motocaddy M7 2025 GPS is a top-tier electric trolley that impresses with its high-quality build, advanced touchscreen GPS, and seamless Bluetooth connectivity, making it feel like a mini computer on the course. Its powerful, quiet motor and remote control offer a liberating and relaxed golfing experience, especially on flat terrain. However, its performance on steep slopes is less optimal, requiring manual operation in such conditions. Overall, it’s a luxurious and feature-rich trolley that elevates the playing experience, akin to driving a luxury car.
Overall, the Motocaddy M7 Remote is the cream of the crop in electric trolleys. The features are fantastic and the GPS maps on the touchscreen mean that you have everything at your fingertips. You walk down the fairways like you have Billy Foster on your bag. It is a really liberating way to play golf.
PROS
Touchscreen with GPS and Bluetooth
The freedom of remote control
Powerful, quiet motor
CONS
Performance across steep slopes

CONS

Overall I was impressed with this trolley. The only negatives are that the straps and the handles look a little “budget”. The other thing, not unique to this trolley, is the potential vulnerability of the screen to damage. I know this only too well to my cost with my own trolley which is another brand but I have seen countless trolleys of all brands with broken screens.
Those minor gripes aside, functionally, I really liked this. For the price it offers great performance, in particular the downhill braking, which for me, would be a massive draw. I would highly recommend checking out this trolley.
PROS
Overall ease of use
Sleek looks
Downhill braking
Can be put up in a matter of seconds
Range of speeds to match any golfer’s walking pace
CONS
Screen potentially vulnerable to damage

The RX12 is the highest spec of trolley that Powakaddy offers. As well as being remote controlled it has the world’s first 5″ folding GPS screen. This offers a whole hole display that using the touchscreen can pick out distances to hazards or any area that you wish.

If you’re a golfer looking for a trolley that’s quick and simple to get up and down this is it. The FX1 isn’t packed with tech, there’s no big LED screen it. but there’s still plenty to rave about.
It’s easy, you slot the battery in, turn it on and you’re good to go. It has a one button operating system, twist to increase speed, push to start or stop. It’s fairly lightweight and easy to manoeuvre around the course.
It travels at a good speed and the battery life is good enough for a couple of round even on the standard battery – weight of your bag etc dependant.
The wheels can easily clip on and off but it does fold down to a reasonable size anyway.

PROS
Sleek design
Easy to operate
Good battery life

None

Despite being the most basic model, the FX3 is just as impressive looks-wise as its more expensive counterparts. The sleek-looking built-in battery and wide display screen leave a very modern sporty look. The FX3 model is available in classic black or polar white, both featuring the classic grey handle grips and yellow PowaKaddy detailing. As well as being easy on the eye, it was easy to assemble with just one click folding system unfolding the whole trolley.
The simplicity continued when it came to the functioning of the trolley. One dial controls the stopping, starting, and speed.
When it comes to storing the FX3 it is certainly not PowaKaddy’s smallest option but with the one-click folding mechanism, it is one of the quickest and easiest. In comparison to former FX models, the FX3 folds up 20% smaller. However, if this is still taking up too much room the back wheels are easily removable.
Overall, I really enjoyed using this trolley. As PowaKaddy’s entry model it is the most basic however if you’re after an easy-to-use, stylish electric trolley this ones for you.
Selecting the right electric trolley is an important decision that can transform your golfing experience. And as you have seen, there’s no shortage of options available for golfers to choose from.
Each of these models offers a unique blend of performance, convenience, and innovative technology that sets them apart.
However, it’s essential to remember that the best trolley for you should cater to your specific needs, whether it’s GPS tracking, compact design, or terrain adaptability.
With the right electric trolley, not only can you conserve energy for your swings, but you can also enhance your overall golfing experience. So go ahead, choose wisely, and let your game thrive with the added convenience.
A bit of a late bloomer to the game of golf, Max fell in love with the sport when he attended Saturday coaching sessions down at his local golf club after being inspired by friends and family members.
Max has remained a member of Eden Golf Club in Carlisle for a number of years now as he looks to get his handicap down into single figures. Most of his golfing career has been spent battling a permanent slice off the tee, which has led to some ugly rounds.
Having studied at the University of Sunderland, Max is starting out his dream career in sports journalism. During his time at university, he picked up valuable work experience at Reach PLC, BBC Radio Cumbria and GiveMeSport, whilst also getting work published in the Teesside Live. He also spent time working at a local weekly newspaper, Eskdale and Liddesdale Advertiser, as a general news reporter partially covering some local sport just north of the border in Langholm.
Max has just started his journey with the NCG working as the assistant equipment editor. He looks forwarded to reviewing the latest golf equipment, taking up an interest in reviews when buying his first golf club, a Cleveland RTX wedge.
With his bag not going under too many changes throughout the last few years, Max carries an M3 driver, Titleist GT3 Fairway Wood, M2 hybrid, a set of M2 irons, Callaway Jaws wedges and a TaylorMade Spider putter. And yes, Max is a bit of a self-proclaimed TaylorMade fan boy.
