At first glance, the E725 gives off a surprisingly premium vibe. I found it sets up confidently behind the ball, with a sleek crown design featuring what appears to be a carbon-look finish making it look sharp and modern. The shape is traditionally appealing, not overly stretched or aggressively contoured, which will suit a wide range of tastes.

In a golfing landscape where most big brands have maxed out centre-face ball speeds, Tour Edge is following the trend of optimising performance on off-centre hits. I must say; they’ve nailed it.

High MOI means more stability through impact, reducing twisting and mishits. This certainly helped me as my numbers were astonishingly consistent. My carry distances that clustered around the 253-yard mark regardless of strike location. That level of forgiveness is a dream for golfers who higher handicap golfers.
My spin rates averaged around 2800 rpm, peaking at 3300. This is a little higher than my average, allowing for better control. This isn’t the lowest-spinning or longest driver out there, but it’s among the easiest to hit. For many golfers, especially those focused on fairway-finding rather than maximum yardage, that’s a winning trade-off.
