Callaway Warbird Golf Balls
Callaway Warbird Golf Ball | Source: Callaway
The Callaway Warbird is an icon of value-for-money golf. There aren’t many more popular golf balls than this amongst beginners and high handicappers. Some might say, a club golfer’s best friend. It’s a golf ball that is all about helping golfers that extra bit ion distance and is one of the furthest hitting options in the brand’s line-up.
The Tour Soft from Titleist is a familiar name in the golf industry but for 2026 it see’s a upgrade. It’s been refreshed cover through to the core – aiming to improve distance off the tee and stopping power into the greens.
It’s a two piece construction that has a refreshed dimple pattern to increase driver distance – it certainly managed that!

Stopping power into the green was also impressive for a non premium Titleist golf ball, including the price tag.

The Q Star Tour and Tour Divide is a three piece urethane golf ball. It is designed for those players looking for tour level performance but with moderate swing speeds.
Off the face it has a soft feel but packs a punch with distance and ball speed. With wedges it has excellent spin performance for a non premium golf ball.

Srixon’s FastLayer Core, which starts soft in the centre and firms up toward the edges, mimics multi-layer performance in a simple two-piece design. Combine that with an aerodynamic dimple pattern and you’ve got a ball that’s forgiving, long, and stable in flight.
The Srixon Soft Feel is a standout choice for mid to high handicap golfers who want more distance, better feel, and short-game spin. The bonus, you get all this without breaking the bank.
It’s not the fastest or the spiniest golf ball, but it’s one of the most balanced and efficient options in its class.

As stated by Srixon the AD333 ball offers tour tech at value. This two piece golf ball continues to hold its mid to high flight properties with an even softer feel than before. This year’s model has had minor changes but the compression rate has lowered slightly to allow for an even softer feel off the club face.
Overall, this ball continues to deliver everything you’d expect from a Srixon AD333.

The Callaway Hex Soft is a golf ball that feels good and helps you hit longer shots, thanks to its special design that reduces air resistance and improves lift.
It also helps keep your shots straight and feels great around the greens.
PXG’s latest golf balls got an outstanding rating when reviewed by NCG’s Jack Backhouse.
There wasn’t much Jack could fault with the PXG Xtreme Tour golf ball. As he commented – The all-round performance is fantastic and hugely impressive, especially off the tee. With a driver in hand you’ll be able to power your way down the fairways. This is one of the quickest ball speeds I have recorded, ball testing this year and the carry distances didn’t disappoint either.
When it came to the PXG Xtreme Tour X Jack went a little further – Right off the bat, I’m going to make a bold claim and say the PXG Xtreme Tour X golf balls are a strong contender for golf ball of the year. This is the higher launching and higher spinning option from PXG’s latest golf ball release.
