There is no doubt that B Draddy produce premium golf apparel. Back in 2013 their mission was to produce a higher quality polo to go against the mainstream golf polos that were full of slick synthetics and cheap cotton. B Draddy Cool McDade Polo

This is probably my favourite polo of the year. I absolutely love the hexagon print effect.

For someone who normally goes for plain designs I warmed to this bold design.

I am typically an XL but could have probably sized down to an L, so bare that in mind when ordering.

The lightweight and stretchy fabric makes it ideal for golf – it just seems to move with you when making a swing.

The breathable nature of the polo also makes it ideal for Spring/Summer golf.

It is a premium price but you are getting a premium product here and throughly recommend.

B.Draddy Zac Short

The fabric used in the construction of these shorts is a very breathable and lightweight polyester. It is also stretchy and quick drying.

The fit is described as clean, classic and tailored. I agree. It comes in no less than nine different colour options. I tested the version in Nauti (navy) with a 32” waist which ran true to size, just. If you are between sizes, I suggest you go up rather than down. The general trend with shorts seems to be to offer a choice of inseams- typically 7” and 9”. The Zac was only offered in 8.5” but the length suited my modest 173 cm height just fine.

There is a gripper waistband (rare in shorts for some reason), four roomy pockets and a complete absence of logoing, so, as I am discovering with B.Draddy stuff, it makes for versatile use. On the course, the Zac performed perfectly well, thanks to their lightweight and stretchy design. But I do think the price may be rather prohibitive for what is a pair of shorts with no particularly outstanding features.

This is very much a premium, top-end product and it does come at a premium price. If you do take the plunge, then I’d expect you to be delighted with your purchase, and for it to be a staple in your wardrobe, both golfing and leisure.

The silicone gripper on the waistband was a small but great detail, keeping my polo neatly in place as I swung. The matte finish looks sharp and is versatile enough to wear off the course too.

They performed well in terms of comfort and freedom of movement, making my game feel smoother.

These trousers are clearly designed for active play, and I can see why they’re worn by Tour players. Overall, they’re a great mix of performance and everyday comfort.

B Draddy COOP 1/4 zip sweater

Sourced from Italy’s well-known Zegan Baruffa mill, the wool is incredibly soft and smooth, making it comfortable to wear.

It’s also naturally antimicrobial, so it stays fresh even after hours of play, and as it is made to resist pilling it should look good for longer.
