Co-hosts Alex Perry and Ben Coley are joined by Matthew Southgate to preview the 119th US Open at Pebble Beach and its incredible storylines

Hello. Can you even believe that in a few days we’ll have already had three of the four majors in the bag in the MIDDLE OF JUNE? It’s madness! Anyway, it’s US Open week and that means another episode of Not Another Golf Podcast.

And what a week we have in store. How many storylines are there? Rory McIlroy trying to end his drought and just days after winning by seven, Tiger Woods returning to the scene of his 15-shot win, Phil Mickelson’s sixth attempt at completing the Grand Slam, Steve Williams back on the bag – this time with Jason Day, Jordan Spieth back in form… And all at glorious Pebble Beach.

In this edition, Ben and I chew the fat for a bit before European Tour pro Matthew Southgate joins us for 15 minutes or so to give us some insight from a player’s perspective. Then we stumble over a few players we think will win this week – it’s harder than it looks this tipping game!

Not Another Golf Podcast: Episode 6

About Not Another Golf Podcast

Ben Coley, of Sporting Life, and I go way back (at least 2013) and we’ve been talking about doing a golf podcast for a while.

We decided we would just create something that included a few minutes of chat followed by at least one interesting guest. Have we peaked too soon? We’ll see…

So here we are, and we hope you like it – because if you don’t they may not let us make any more.

You can listen to more episodes here as well as all the usual places (please leave a review!) and you can follow Ben and me on Twitter at @BenColeyGolf and @AlexPerryNCG respectively.
