Tommy Fleetwood is one of the most popular golfers on tour, amassing seven victories on the DP World Tour and a silver medal from the Olympics. He has now claimed his maiden and much awaited first victory on the PGA Tour, holding his nerve to win the Tour Championship. He followed this with another impressive Ryder Cup performance at Bethpage Black and then scooping the India Championship with an impressive 22 under par score.
His win at East Lake added to what is already an impressive resume, but still has a space for that much covered major plenty of golf fans want to see him achieve. Known for his exceptional ball-striking abilities and stellar performances in the majors and Ryder Cups he opts to kit his bag out with TaylorMade clubs.
His record in major championships is consistently impressive, with a top-five finish in each, notably including a tie for third at the 2024 Masters Tournament, second place at the 2018 U.S. Open, and another second-place finish at the 2019 Open Championship.
Furthermore, he has proven to be an important asset to the European Ryder Cup team, achieving an outstanding four points in 2018 (famously pairing up with Franceso Molinari and winning all 4 of their matches) , clinching the decisive point in 2023 in Italy and in 2025 he once again won all his foursome matches (partnering Rory McIlroy and fourball matches (partnering Justin Rose). He also claimed the Nicklaus-Jacklin Award to wrap up a memorable Ryder Cup in New York.
For 2025 he has made some interesting TaylorMade changes – including the use of a mini driver and 9 wood and most recently spotted with the new Qi4D LS driver in his hands at the Abu Dhabi Championship. Tommy was one of the few TaylorMade staffers who persisted with the Qi35 driver and so will be interesting to see if he makes the Qi4D LS his go to driver for 2026 or not.
