Texas Children’s Houston Open prize money: How much does the winner bank?
See how much each player will take home at Memorial Park
The Texas Children’s Houston Open has attracted a strong group of PGA Tour stars looking to hit their peaks in the lead-up to the Masters.
World No.1 Scottie Scheffler will take to the field at Memorial Park, as will Wyndham Clark. This pair of Americans have formed quite the rivalry in the last few weeks on the PGA Tour.
Scheffler won the Arnold Palmer Invitational again earlier this month, beating Clark who was the runner-up. Clark then finished second again to Scheffler in a thrilling Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass.
We could see another battle between the pair in Texas this week. Tony Finau, Sahith Theegala, Si Woo Kim, Jason Day and Will Zalatoris are also in the field looking to find form as we approach the showpiece event at Augusta National next month.
The prize money for this week is $9.1 million. This represents a steep increase from $8.4 million in 2022 when Finau beat Tyson Alexander by four shots when the event was called the Cadence Bank Houston Open. There was no tournament in 2023
