‘Best clothing line on tour’: J.Lindeberg star excited for new partnership with DP World Tour

Matt Wallace spoke to NCG about the DP World Tour’s new partnership with J. Lindeberg at the Genesis Scottish Open…

Four-time DP World Tour winner Matt Wallace was full of excitement for the circuit’s new partnership with J.Lindeberg.

The popular clothing brand announced an exclusive multi-year partnership with the formerly-named European Tour earlier this month, becoming its official clothing supplier.

As well as delivering clothes to the Genesis Scottish Open at the Renaissance Club, J.Lindeberg will also be the official clothing supplier at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth in September, the DP World Tour’s flagship event.

If you attended the Genesis Scottish Open this week, you might’ve spotted the tour’s staff donning the smart new gear, as well as stars including Wallace and Viktor Hovland.

“It’s exciting. It’s great for the tour, just seeing the continuity of all the staff wearing the same stuff. I think the logo, the DP World Tour logo and the J. Lindeberg logo look brilliant and they get to wear some brilliant clothes,” Wallace told NCG.

“Hopefully, they don’t get the stuff that I get! Because we’ll all be looking the same, but it’s really nice to see and I’ve spoken to a few of the staff and they love it.

“I’ve been with them now for seven or eight years and I’ve signed a new contract to stay with them. I think it’s the best clothing line on tour. I would say that! But I’ve been with them for that long and I’ve got a J.Lindeberg golf bag, hats, everything.

“I love working with the team, they’re a brilliant team, doing the photoshoots doesn’t feel like work because they’re fun, you get to see the new clothes. I like that and I can give some feedback and just working together as a partnership like it should be.”

Founded in 1996, J. Linderberg is a renowned Swedish clothing brand that will outfit DP World Tour personnel with a range of bespoke products suiting their active and travel-intensive lifestyles.
