Peter Baker continued his sparkling form on the Legends Tour with a dominant six-shot victory at the Costa Navarino Legends Tour Trophy. He did it without dropping a single shot across all 54 holes, in part thanks to his SkyCaddie rangefinder.

The 1993 Ryder Cup star rolled back the years in Greece, carding 14 birdies and an eagle to finish at 16-under-par. He held off fellow SkyCaddie users James Kingston and Thomas Gögele. While Baker’s putter played its part, it was his SkyCaddie PRO 5X that helped keep him in control from tee to green.
“The SkyCaddie is the first thing I put in the bag when I go away,” said Baker. “The Costa Navarino greens are fantastic, but you have to put the ball in the right spot. The SkyCaddie gives me instant yardages to the pin as well as the front and back of the green, which are completely trustworthy, and it is also good for carry distances over greenside bunkers as it shows how much room you have beyond.”
That accuracy helped the Englishman manage the slick Navarino greens and plot his way around some tricky hole locations. “You’ve got to put the ball in the right place,” he added. “Each night I download the following day’s pins straight onto the SkyCaddie.”
The result was a masterclass in precision. Even with the title sealed, Baker faced one last test at the 72nd hole. He had a 40-foot putt to secure a bogey-free round.
“I wouldn’t want to play without the SkyCaddie nowadays. I have the latest PRO 5X model, which is the fastest SkyCaddie I’ve ever used, and I’m very happy with it.”
The win marked Baker’s eighth career title on the over-50s circuit. This puts him firmly in the hunt in the 2025 Legends Tour Order of Merit. He and Kingston are chasing current leader Scott Hend, with all three using a SkyCaddie rangefinder this season.

SkyCaddie continues to dominate at the Legends Tour. With two wins already this season, the tech brand is building on its stellar season last year. In 2024, 12 of the 15 Legends Tour events allowing rangefinders were won by SkyCaddie users. What’s even more impressive is that every Legends Tour Order of Merit winner since 2021 has used one.
