Trophée Hassan II betting tips: Top tips
Joost Luiten heads an open betting market and has finished ninth and 13th in two appearances here. But he is very lightly raced over the past couple of months and his price is probably short enough.
Nacho Elvira (25/1) doesn’t figure among the leading lights with the bookies but you can’t argue with his recent form.
The Spaniard has had a series of near misses in his last three tournaments – most notably at the Maybank Championship where he was runner-up after leading going into the final round.
Any disappointment at not grabbing his maiden European Tour title on that occasion was dispelled with a strong display at the Hero Indian Open, where he was tied for 6th.
Add in a runner-up showing at Dar Es Salam three years ago and, as long as that three-week break hasn’t dulled his edge, you’d like to think he’d have a strong chance of breaking his duck in Morocco.
Christian Bezuidenhout (35/1) is another who is getting ever closer to getting off the mark on the European Tour.
With three top tens in his last four starts, including tied 2nd at the Qatar Masters and tied 4th at the Indian Open, he is on the brink and has improved in both his appearances here (34th in 2016 and 22nd last year).
