Patrick Cantlay (20/1) is one of the men in form on the PGA Tour and comes off the back of his tremendous week at Augusta National where he took the lead in the closing stages of the tournament.
The American has made just two starts at Harbour Town but has nailed top 10 finishes on both occasions and he contended on his debut in 2017, finishing the week just three back of winner Wesley Bryan.
It’s hard to ignore a player who has won here in the past, particularly when they finish inside the top 10 as much as Matt Kuchar (22/1).
He almost managed a top 10 at Augusta last week but fell just short. His record on the South Carolina coast is phenomenal and since his victory in 2014 he hasn’t finished lower than T23.
Ian Poulter (33/1) had a run at the title last year but capitulated during the final round and shot 75. His three rounds in the 60s prior to his collapse will increase your interest, particularly when he’s currently playing some of the best golf of his career.
The Englishman has seven worldwide top 25s in last 10 starts and most notably hasn’t missed the cut since the Dell Technologies Championship at the end of August last year.
