Made in Denmark betting tips
You’ll find my Made in Denmark betting tips below, but first…
The details
Date: May 22-25, 2019
Course stats: Par 71, 6,900 yards
Course summary: A parkland track that is by no means straightforward. The exposed nature of the land means if the wind gets up, the players will feel it. Any players returning from the PGA Championship may have been hoping for a slightly more forgiving test, but the rough at Himmerland is punishing.
Purse: €3 million
Defending champion: Matt Wallace (-19)

Made in Denmark betting tips: Joe’s players to follow
Victor Dubuisson (28/1 with Bet365) is beginning to look more like the golfer we saw play his way into the 2014 Ryder Cup team.
After a lengthy spell away from the game due to injury, the 29-year-old looks like he is ready to contend again on a regular basis and his results on the European Tour this season back that up.
With four top-20 finishes already this year, and a solid performance to finish 23rd at the British Masters last time out, his game is trending in the right direction for a big week.
This will not be the first time Dubuisson has played around this course, he teed it up here in 2017, finishing tied for 31st and he’s my top tip for glory.
A missed cut at on the links at the Hillside aside, Benjamin Herbert (45/1) is in brilliant form.
Yet to record a victory on the European Tour, he has been in with a shout on a number of occasions this season and I’m confident his maiden win is just around the corner.
He lost in a play-off to Mikko Korhonen in China and has another top 10 to his name already.
His course form makes for good reading, too. He’s played around her three times in the last four years and has two top 20s and one top-10 finish.
Finally, David Horsey (70/1) has not had a win on tour since 2015 when he won this event, but he has been playing some good golf this season and clearly enjoys the Danish stop.
The Englishman has made five consecutive cuts on the European Tour which included a T12 in Oman and most recently a T30 at the British Masters.
Along with his win around this course, he also recorded a runner-up finish when he last teed it up here in 2017.
With decent form heading into this week and course form to rival the field, I like his chances of a place.
