Arnold Palmer Invitational betting tips: Top picks
Justin Rose returns to action this week after five weeks off. In his last appearance at the Saudi International he surprisingly missed the cut but I fully expect the Englishman to hit the ground running this week with plenty of high profile tournaments on the PGA Tour calendar in the next month.
It’s no surprise that Rose is one of the favourites at Bay Hill and is priced at 12/1. He’s sneaked a few missed cuts at this tournament in the past but is currently on a run of 3rd-T13-T9 and you’d fully expect him to be in the running once again.
A player who has started to get his game trending in the right direction over the past couple of weeks is Hideki Matsuyama who has had four straight top 20s.
The 27-year-old is in a similar situation to the one last year’s winner Rory McIlroy where he just needs to get the putter working to contend once again.
If you think Matsuyama could win his first PGA Tour event since the 2017 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational you can find him at 28/1 for Bay Hill this week.
