Callaway winter apparel sale – Top 4 picks
Callaway Dobby Sherpa Interior Golf Wind Vest

Callaway are usually very good with winter clothing, which makes it no surprise that the Dobby Sherpa Interior Golf Wind Vest is a very good gilet option for this winter.
The gilet offers a high level of insulation, thanks to its woolly inner layer and a thermal padded design, offering more warmth and comfort.
Callaway claim that the Dobby Sherpa Vest is 100% windproof despite its lightweight design. Even with those extra levels of thermal comfort, thanks to its sherpa fleece lining, this piece of clothing offers freedom of movement for golfers, along with a nice design and two different colourways.
It has a full zip design and two hand pockets, useful for those brisk winter mornings.
The downside to this gilet from Callaway is that due to the materials used, it is not entirely water resistant, so although it will be very useful on cold mornings, it won’t be as useful if you need to stick the umbrella up…
PROS:
- Fleecy and warm
- Comfortable
- Windproof
CONS:
- Not totally water resistant
RRP: £89.99
Sizes: S-2XL
Colours: Peacoat / Caviar

Callaway Aquapel Premium Golf Hoodie

Golf hoodie is a phrase that may have those of a certain generation gnashing and wailing but they are becoming more prevalent. The Callaway Aquapel Premium Golf Hoodie will help those that are hoodie-curious into trying this garment.
Made from a mix of fabrics it stretches to give a good range of motion. The fabric also has aquapel water-repellant technology.
I tried the peacoat-heather colour and it was a good-looking hoodie. It has a straight lower hem and 2 front pockets. It is very comfortable, albeit the material certainly has some heft to it. The neck is a V with a drawstring.
On, it was very comfortable and it was easy to swing a club. If you fancy a golf top that is a little different, try this out.
PROS:
- Aquapel technology
- Something a bit different
- Good looks and performance
CONS:
- None
RRP: £89.99
Sizes: S-2XL
Colours: Peacoat Heather / Dark Caviar Heather

Callaway Water Resistant Thermal Golf trousers

I hate any restrictions when playing golf. In the winter getting multiple layers on does not enhance my enjoyment of the game.
The Callaway Water Resistant Thermal Golf Trouser is right up my street. They are a supremely comfortable, flat-fronted fleece lined trouser.
As soon as I put them on I could feel how warm they are. They are made from 91% polyester and 9% spandex and therefore they stretch nicely and allow for good movement. They are water resistant with opti-repel technology.
There are 2 front pockets and 2 back pockets, one of which is buttoned. If, like me, you are not a fan of wearing over-trousers in the winter, then this are the perfect solution. Highly recommended.
PROS
- Smart design for a winter trouser
- Supremely warm and comfortable
- Stretch does not inhibit your swing
CONS
- None
RRP: £69.99
Sizes: Waist 30-42 / Leg 30-34
Colours: Caviar / Night Sky / Ashphalt

Callaway Stormlite II Waterproof Golf Jacket

I am a hard person to please when it comes to waterproof golf jackets.
I hate anything too restrictive but if jackets are too large that comes with its own issues.
It was with some interest that I checked out the Callaway Stormlite II Waterproof golf jacket.
The one I tried was blue with black trim and it looked very smart. Callaway describe its opti-repel technology, the seams are fully sealed and it comes with a reassuring 2 year waterproof warranty.
In use I found it to be comfortable and the swing-tech technology functioned extremely well. It doesn’t feel very stretchy but this is down to the clever design. When I examined it closely I could see that it stretched more in one direction than the other. This made it easy to swing the club.
It comes with adjustable cuffs and 2 zip pockets.
The fit is pretty true to size although if, like me, your six-pack is not what it used to be then I would consider going up a size as it not over-long.
PROS
- Fully featured
- Great technology
- 2 year waterproof warranty
- Great value for money.
CONS
- Not very long so consider sizing up
RRP – £99.99
Sizes: S-2XL
Colours: Peacoat-Pearl Blue / Quiet Shade / Galaxy Blue / Caviar / Peacoat
