The best of the best! We roundup the best gear that Stuburt has to offer for Spring Summer 2026
There aren’t many golf brands with the same level of heritage as Stuburt. With over 100 years of experience making golf shoes, they have set their sights on clothing over recent years.
Built around the needs of the everyday golfer, here at NCG we found their latest range offers a lightweight comfort and versatile styling. Increasingly golfers don’t just want their apparel to perform on the course but also in everyday life as well.
Stuburt has leaned into this. The collection feels both contemporary and wearable, which is an ideal for those who value performance just as much as their style.
Here’s some of our favourites that will spruce up your wardrobe this summer…
The Stuburt Alicante Performance Polo Shirt is an excellent option for golfers looking for something lightweight without sacrificing comfort or style. It is extremely lightweight, almost barelynoticeable when you’re wearing it making it ideal for the summer golf ahead of us. Despite the lightweight feel of the shirt, it still feels durable and well made.
I am 6f1 slightly larger build and the XL fit is spot on for me. Comfortable, complete freedom of movement without it being too loose for hitting golf shots.
On the course, it performs exactly how you’d want: breathable, easy to move in, and smart enough to wear off the golf course. It is available in six different colourways which I think fit well as a staple for your golfing wardrobe. Overall, it’s a reliable, high-performance polo that delivers on both comfort and practicality.

The Stuburt Simp Trouser is a really solid option for your trouser collection this golfing season. Lightweight, super flexible, looks smart and performs well. My first observation is how lightweight they are, ideal for a long leg option this summer. The flexibility of them also is noticeable, no tightness when squatting around the green or abnormal stances.

Fit-wise, they strike a nice balance between modern and practical. They are well pocketed which is ideal for carrying all the bits us golfers need and fit well around your legs without being too tight or loose
They are also built with water repellent components which is always a bonus for typical UK golfing conditions. Overall, they’re a great option to consider, excellent price point, comfortable and look smart for both the golf course and off it.
The Stuburt Sigma Second Layer is one of my favourite releases in the Spring Summer collection this year. It strikes a really nice balance between on and off course appeal as it looks really smart. The smartness isn’t at the detriment of the practicality of the piece, the material offers warmth and flexibility positioning it as both a mid-layer and a sole outer layer option.
The four-way stretch stands out, giving you complete freedom through the swing without any restriction. It moves naturally with your body, which is key when layering up. Moisture management is also solid, helping keep you dry when things warm up mid-round.
In terms of fit, it’s comfortable and modern without being too tight, so it works well over a polo. I am 6ft 1 with a larger build, so the XL is an ideal option for me. I am always a fan of quieter apparel pieces, small logos and subtle design so this fits the bill perfectly. The Sigma piece will get plenty of use from me this year.
The Stuburt Nighthawk Padded Jacket is another one of my favourite releases from Stuburt this year. It stands as super reliable all weather outer layer for the ever unpredictable UK weather, wind proof, shower proof and ideal for keeping warm this year.
It’s designed as a technical outer layer, and that comes through straight away with the lightweight padded construction, which provides solid insulation without feeling bulky. The balance of warmth and comfort stands out for this piece, heat deals padding across the chest is effective and the added stretch allows for full flexibility at all levels of your golf swing.
The fit is modern and athletic, sitting neatly without feeling tight, while details like the ribbed hem help keep everything in place during play. It also transitions nicely off the course thanks to its clean, understated look.
Overall, it’s a practical, well-designed jacket that delivers dependable performance in cooler conditions.
The Bullfinch men’s polo is a smart camouflage designed piece available in a pink or blue colourway.
The fit of the polo was really good, it didn’t sit too tight but also wasn’t baggy and the four-way stretch material was ideal when out on the course.
The design is slightly on the loud side for me, I personally prefer to keep my golfing fashion fairly simple but if this is the sort of style you like then I would certainly recommend it as an option for your next polo.
It is available at a great price point, really comfortable and certainly eye-catching!
The Stuburt Goose Polo, I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and comfort it offers. The fabric feels premium against the skin, with an ideal blend of softness and breathability. It fitted me well, allowing for a full range of motion during swings without feeling restrictive. What really stood out was the fantastic price point—it’s not every day you find such a well-crafted polo that doesn’t break the bank. It is available in 4 colours and I am really tempted to stock up with the other colours!
Plus, it’s exciting to see Stuburt gaining increased exposure as a preferred choice for LIV Golf teams, including Sergio Garcia’s Fireballs, which speaks volumes about its style and performance on the course.
Pros:
Exceptional quality and comfort for the price.
Breathable fabric perfect for warm-weather play.
Stylish design that stands out both on and off the course.
Stuburt Cuckoo / Kestrel / Mallard Polo – up to 60% off
The Cuckoo Polo from Stuburt, in my view, the best of three very similar models- the other two being the Kestrel, a plain print coming in a choice of no less than eight different colours, and the Mallard with a splatter graphic in three colours. They are all constructed from the same fabric (88% polyester, 12% elastane), are stretchy, breathable and wicking, with a tailored colour and a three-button closure. Interestingly, they are all priced slightly differently but very reasonably, at between £24.99 and £34.99.
The Cuckoo is my favourite, due to its classic yet stylish all-over Stuburt monogram repeat print. I tested the Bermuda Grass colour. Both look good. On the course, it is comfortable to wear, and the overall impression is one of classic elegance, as seen in some garments costing more than twice as much as the Cuckoo.
What Stuburt does well is maintain that level of professionalism within their golf clothes but mixed with a bit of casual style.
A lot of golf brands now can’t resist the temptation of going with a completely relaxed look that doesn’t at all look like it belongs on a golf course – not here!
It’s a case of look good, feel good when Stuburt is concerned.
A bit of a late bloomer to the game of golf, Max fell in love with the sport when he attended Saturday coaching sessions down at his local golf club after being inspired by friends and family members.
Max has remained a member of Eden Golf Club in Carlisle for a number of years now as he looks to get his handicap down into single figures. Most of his golfing career has been spent battling a permanent slice off the tee, which has led to some ugly rounds.
Having studied at the University of Sunderland, Max is starting out his dream career in sports journalism. During his time at university, he picked up valuable work experience at Reach PLC, BBC Radio Cumbria and GiveMeSport, whilst also getting work published in the Teesside Live. He also spent time working at a local weekly newspaper, Eskdale and Liddesdale Advertiser, as a general news reporter partially covering some local sport just north of the border in Langholm.
Max has just started his journey with the NCG working as the assistant equipment editor. He looks forwarded to reviewing the latest golf equipment, taking up an interest in reviews when buying his first golf club, a Cleveland RTX wedge.
With his bag not going under too many changes throughout the last few years, Max carries an M3 driver, Titleist GT3 Fairway Wood, M2 hybrid, a set of M2 irons, Callaway Jaws wedges and a TaylorMade Spider putter. And yes, Max is a bit of a self-proclaimed TaylorMade fan boy.
The 88% polyester/12% elastane fabric offers 4-way stretch and is lightweight and moisture wicking. You get a choice of five colours and a load of sizes. I tested the 32/30 which ran true to size. So far, so good.
Where these trousers lose points is that the fabric feels rather synthetic, when compared to some higher end competitors, which are admittedly more expensive. Furthermore, the slim fitting style is not going to suit the chunkier golfer or those who prefer a more relaxed fit.
On the course, these lightweight trousers performed perfectly well and felt well put together. They don’t pretend to offer any weatherproof properties so work best in mild to warm weather conditions.
So, this is a comfortable and durable pair of trousers that are perfectly serviceable but just didn’t quite hit the mark for this reviewer, particularly when the rest of the FJ apparel range is so strong. PROSS

I don’t think I have reviewed a belt before and am not given to buying golf-specific belts. So, what to say?
This is a smart genuine leather belt that comes in just one colour which is black. The belt is nice and thick and looks to be well-constructed. It is adjustable in that the original length of 40in is designed to be cut to size.
There are marks on the belt to assist with the cutting to size. The only point I would make is that there is a choice of five perforated closure holes, and I would have expected that the middle of the five holes would be 30in from the 30in mark. It was in fact an inch out, which I thought was unnecessary.
That said, it is straightforward enough to cut to size and, hey presto, you have your own smart custom-fit belt which looks like it will give years of useful service. PRONSROSOCCCO
