Callaway’s Apex line has traditionally been all about the better player, for its tenth anniversary that is about to change as Callaway adds a Player’s Distance iron and a game improvement iron to the range as well as a brand new Ti Fusion model. So let’s take a look at what they’ve come up with…
Apex Ai irons
The new Apex Ai irons are designed for a blend of feel, power, and consistency. Despite having different construction they both feature forged 455 faces to deliver tour-level sound and feel.
If you couldn’t tell from the name, Ai is involved here, in the club face. The Ai Smart Face face uses thousands of shots from real golfers’ swings combined with artificial intelligence to generate a club face that optimises speed and consistency.
The club heads also feature strategically positioned weights to ensure the CG is optional to help golfers hit the right launch windows.
The irons have a dynamic sole design to improve turf interaction and add more forgiveness through the turf at impact.
Callaway Apex Ai200
Callaway is calling the Apex Ai200 irons a player’s distance offering with enhanced power across the face from the Forged 455 Face Cup.
