Men’s Under Armour Drive Rain Jacket
Rain jackets are every golfers nemesis. Often bulky and restrictive, most only wear them when the conditions dictate.

This Under Armour Drive Rain Jacket was comfortable as soon as I put it on. With adjustable cuffs and a drawstring at the bottom, you can make the necessary changes so that it doesn’t flap. It would have been nice to have adjustable sides for a more snug fit but this certainly isn’t a deal breaker.
The full length zip means you can get the jacket on and off easily, with 2 fully zipped hand pockets for any valuables. Like the matching trousers, the breathable material left you feeling protected from the elements without overheating.
As is always the case with waterproofs, the proof of the pudding is how dry your clothes are at the end of the round and this jacket passed with flying colours.

Under Armour Golf Rain Trousers
The days of bulky, noisy rain trousers are over.
The Under Armour Rain Pants are incredibly easy to get on, with huge leg zips that mean you don’t even have to take your shoes off. I always find this an essential for rain trousers, as there is nothing worse than struggling as a heavy shower hits.
An adjustable waist band ensures a snug fit and once on, the soft shell look gives the impression that you are simply wearing normal golf trousers.
The two hand pockets and rear pocket all come with zips to help keep things safe but I preferred to leave them unzipped for my tees and golf glove.
The soft material gave great protection from the elements without making your legs too hot. Post round my trousers were totally dry – job done!

I think quarter zips are very much the bread and butter of golf clothing. The weather can often be unpredictable so it’s important to layer up appropriately even during spring and summer. I have owned and tested plenty of mid layers and this offering from Under Armour had plenty of the desirable qualities that make a great quarter zip.
It is very versatile; I would be just as happy wearing this casually or even to the gym as I would on the golf course. Additionally, it is ideal for summer use. Under Armour Men’s Drive Midlayer Pullover
The material used for this Mid layer pull over is incredibly soft but also flattering at the same time.
It’s extremely comfortable to wear and snuggly and warm whilst also having lots of flexibility and movement for playing golf in.
One thing I really like is that the collar can be either worn up around the neck or easily put down to make more of a zip up casual top.
The drawstring on the pullover is neatly finished and all in all this is a really nice piece in a lovely light blue colour which I can be worn on the golf course or out an about a sporty sweater.

Under Armour Drive Midlayer Jacquard Hoodie
Having crept into my 50s, I have never been sure about where hoodies fit on the golf course. I have always assumed that the hood would become a minor annoyance, especially in stronger winds.
This Jacquard Hoodie really changed my mind. The neck line and hood are incredibly comfortable and provide a really warm barrier in blustery conditions. The material was very comfortable to wear, with a soft feel, brushed interior giving a great barrier to the cold.
The detailing on the hoodie looks great, especially in the sun and I had plenty of admirers when I got back in the clubhouse.
Despite the high winds, the hood didn’t bother me once and had no interference with my swing. This will quickly become a go to sweater for the Autumn / Winter seasons.

Under Armour Men’s ColdGear® Fitted Mock
I feel like most base layers are all about comfort. I’ve struggled in the past to find one that is comfortable and that doesn’t itch, when I get warm during a round.
During testing, I had absolutely no issue with any discomfort or itching. I feel as though the neck of a base layer can often be too tight, but this was just right. Although, its designed to offer a tighter compression fit against the skin it wasn’t tight enough to restrict any movement on the arms or the torso. Performance isn’t hindered for more warmth.

I think the styling is great. The black version can go with any coloured polo or trousers, so it really is versatile in its wear. It can also easily be used away from the golf course in any other active sport – I often dual used base layers for football and running.
Having a four-way stretch really provides that ultra-warmth feel.

Under Armour trousers have been my go-to for the past couple of years. I just can’t seem to go wrong the sportwear brand’s offerings when it comes to golf trousers, and these new UA Drive Tapered pants are no different. The Tapering makes the fit extremely comfortable without being overly baggy which I find some golf trousers are guilty of being.
Additionally, they are equipped with Under Armour’s storm technology which makes it water repellent for suitable all-year round use.
In short, these are everything you would want from a pair of golf trousers, they look great, are comfortable to wear and you can wear them no matter the weather.

Under Armour Drive Pro All Weather
If you’re looking for a pair of water resistant trousers this winter then theUnder Armour Drive Pro could be the perfect choice.
These trousers are a lovely colour and material which feels comfortable to wear as well as being good quality.
The trousers are water resistant so they will keep you dry while out on the course, however there is a limit to their resistance so if you do get caught in a full on downpour you might need to slip some waterproof trousers over for full protection.
The trousers also have plenty of pocket room including a secret zipped pocket on the hip to keep something extra safe.
Overall these trousers will do everything you would want to and for £75 it’s a pretty good price as well.

A great cold weather, winter trouser option. They retain heat well in more blustery, cooler conditions to give improved insulation. Despite this, they still offer suitable breathability to stop overheating and enhance on course performance.
Offers fabulous comfortability for both on course and casual wear. They fit nicely, with no need to size up or down. The taper fitting is a real plus and gives the trouser a more modern look, whilst still incorporating a classy appearance that would look at home on a golf course. Having a strecth engineered waistband widens it’s usability to supply a supreme fit.
For me these Under Armour Infrared tapered trousers are my ideal golf trouser. They have a neat fit, a modern but classy look, whilst still offering great performance benefits. These are a trouser that will get you through the cold months of winter, but I believe they can easily be worn in spring and summer as well.

The Under Armour Storm Fleece Gaiter offers an impressive blend of comfort and functionality, making it an excellent choice for any golfer facing chillier conditions.

What you look for in a cap is a sleek design, and for it to be comfortable and breathable on your head during a round of golf. The woven fabric, made entirely from polyester, is durable and long-lasting, while being extremely comfortable. The design features the Under Armour logo on the front, with the UA Golf logo branded on the left side of the cap.
As with all caps, the 96 Cap from Under Armour is adjustable, thanks to the Velcro strap, with a hook and loop closure, at the back of the design. For less than £20, the UA 96 Cap is a great deal, and will keep you looking stylish out on the course this summer.

As the cold months kick in, every golfer needs a Beanie hat for that additional warm. The difference these make on a round cannot but underestimated and Under Armour have hit the mark with this one.
As well as the Jasper Blue that I tested, this hat is available in black.
It stretches really well to ensure a comfortable and secure fit. The material gives great warmth and the pom pom on top, isn’t too heavy that it would annoy you.
The lettering and branding on the hat look great and I finished a windy, cold round feeling warm and protected from the elements.

Under Armour Halftime Pom Beanie
The right beanie can make all the difference in making a cold, winter round of golf more bearable. I do believe that this can be a game-changer for winter golf. A well-designed comfotable beanie that will help you stay warm throughout your round.
I really love the stuling on the piece and color scheme. The white and blue looks sleek, professional, and oozes style. A light and soft beanie is ideal, something that is not going to weigh your head down, when the chin already begins to lower through a bad round.
The soft lining and material doesn’t result in any discomfort. I don’t always wear a beanie for the simple reason of it itching too much on my head. But, I had no such problems with this Under Armour hat.
It has a real premium feel to it.
I’m often left debating, before a round, whether to wear a beanie. There will be no such debate needed this winter as when the temperatures hit rock bottom, I’ll be rocking this new Under Armour beanie.

Under Armour Unisex Performance Tech Crew Socks – 3 Pack
I believe a good pair of sockets can get you halfway there to enjoying a comfortable golf round. These Under Armour socks certainly tick that box.
These classy looking thick socks have a built-in arch support that helps to reduce fatigue in a golfer’s feet. We’ve all been there when we start to lack towards the end of a busy day and round on the golf course, our feet don’t feel as though they are offering the support they did at the start.
They feel particularly comfortable during wear and the Locked-In Fit design secures the sock to keep the heel supported. Comfortability is a key element to these socks with the mesh panels on top adding extra breathbaility to help prevent sweaty feet.
Great value, considering they should last longer than your average pair of socks with its durable material that dries fast.

Under Armour Unisex Drive Storm Gloves
As part of Under Armour’s 2024 Autumn Winter launch, they have released the unisex UA Drive Storm Gloves as part of their accessory range. These gloves are designed to combat the wet winter weather through solid grip on your clubs and keeping your hands dry during rainy days.
Admittedly I haven’t been an avid user of winter gloves like these in the past, only due to delirious optimism of ‘it won’t rain too much’. Now 3 years into my golfing lifestyle I have quickly realised that these are a necessity for any golfer looking to get out in the winter (or those summer downpours).
The Drive Storm gloves fit the bill perfectly, they look really smart in the plain black colourway, and I am sure it is no coincidence that this also helps keep the clean look in what might be muddy conditions.
The technology in the gloves are also really impressive, they are designed with a bonded knit fabric on the back of the hand to repel water from getting into the glove which I can certainly account for. Secondly, the synthetic leather palm is very effective in sustaining your grip of the golf club throughout your round of golf.
Overall, I would certainly recommend these gloves if you are planning on getting out this winter. They look great and will certainly help out on the course and a great wet weather golf glove option.

Under Armour Cart Mitts
I’m not the biggest user of golf mitts in the world, may be to do with my fair weather golfer attitude. But I was pleasantly surprised by these Under Armour mitts and the lightness of them.
The water-resistant shelling is also massive plus. Having a set of mitts they you’re are comfortable knowing they will keep your hands warm and dry during windy and rainy round is invaluable. That trust is priceless, and these mitts certainly had my trust.
The only problem I had with these Under Armour was that they were a fairly loose fit, I would recommend sizing down. I’m normally a large and I found they were particularly big and for the colder weather I’d prefer them to be a bit tighter for insulation. That’s purely a personal preference.
However, they are oversized mitts – easy layering over golf gloves.
Overall, they were useful.

Under Armour Drive Mittens
I’m not saying I suffer from poor circulation, but it doesn’t take the mercury dropping too much for me to look like I’ve just climbed Everest and several digits are in danger of going gangrenous.
Under Armour’s Drive Mittens could the answer to my prayers. Insulated gloves often just aren’t enough when it gets really chilly, but golf mittens – in my experience – often look and feel like boxing gloves and can be a chew to get on and off.
The compact fit of these mitts is superb – particularly when you need to stow them – the fleece interior lining is genuinely warm.
They grip well, thanks to coating on the tips, and they are very, very good when it rains. Yes, there are cheaper options out there, but you won’t be disappointed here.
