Russell Henley burst on to the scene with victory on his PGA Tour debut at the 2013 Sony Open and was tipped for greatness.
He bagged his second PGA Tour win with victory over Rory McIlroy at the 2014 Honda Classic but things had dried up since.
At the time both players were wearing Nike clothing and using Nike clubs. The clothing has stayed the same but the rest, as they say, is history.
While McIlroy has dabbled with TaylorMade, Callaway and Titleist since Nike pulled out of the hardware game, Henley signed a full bag and ball deal with Titleist.
He has since added to four more PGA Tour victories – one in 2017 at the Shell Houston Open, one in 2022 at the World Wide Technology Championship, the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational, and most recently the Charles Schwab Challenge in 2026 where he edge out fellow American Eric Cole in play-off.
He also played in the 2025 Ryder Cup, but only managed to secure half a point – in a dramatic Sunday’s singles match against Shane Lowry.
A look inside Russell Henley’s bag
The American had the Titleist TSi3 driver in play, switched to Titleist’s newer GT range but for Masters week he switched back to the TSi3. He did the same with his 16.5 degree, gaming the GT before switching back to the TS3.
When it comes to his 21 degree he has switched to the Titleist TS3 from the TSi2. To finish off his metal woods he has the brand-new GTS3 seven-wood – a range that has been hugely popular on tour since its release in 2026.
