Lee Westwood WITB 2026: Billy Foster back on the bag but what is in it?

Lee Westwood has Billy Foster back on the bag for 2026 but which Ping clubs make it into the bag? Paul Miller takes a closer look.

Lee Westwood has had a seriously illustrious career racking forty four professional wins – with twenty-five European and two PGA Tour wins. He is also one of the few golfers who has won tournaments on five continents and across four decades.

He has played in eleven Ryder Cups and reached World Number One golfer in 2010 – replacing Tiger Woods.

In 2022 Lee signed for LIV Golf, which triggered his resignation from the European Tour in 2023.

Even with all the controversy surrounding the switch Lee still remains a popular golfer and with Billy Foster back on the bag he is back contending – narrowly missing out to Bryson DeChambeau at the Singapore Individual.

So what clubs does he have in play for the 2026 season? Let’s take a closer look…

What’s in Lee Westwood’s bag?

Westwood has been a Ping staffer for his entire pro career, which doesn’t look likely to change anytime in the future. He has a full bag of their latest equipment in play on the LIV golf tour, starting with the Ping G440 driver. He then carries a Ping G430 3-wood and a 19-degree Ping G425 hybrid. When playing links golf he puts a 2 iron in the bag.

Lee carries a full set of Ping i240 irons and two wedges.

He rounds out his bag with a Ping PLD putter, with a special insert and black shaft.

His ball of choice is the Titleist 2025 Pro V1x golf ball.
