Long-time TaylorMade staffer Justin Rose relied on his M2 driver and fairway wood on his way to beating Henrik Stenson to the gold medal in Brazil.

Some may be surprised to see Rose opt for the M2 ahead of the M1 but the Englishman was a huge fan of the M2 from initial testing.
Rose opted for a PSi 3-iron in Rio to go alongside his Tour Preferred MB irons which have been in the bag since his US Open victory in 2013.

The TaylorMade Tour Preferred EF wedges played a key role in Rose’s final round. His pitch on 18 helped set-up the crucial tap-in birdie to clinch the gold medal for Team GB.
One area where Rose has been taking in recent months is with the putter.
The one he used in Rio was the TaylorMade Ghost Monaco Tour Black Prototype which is much similar to one he had such good success with at the 2014 Ryder Cup.

What Rose said: “’This feels better than any tournament I’ve ever won. This is so unique. The crowd out there today were incredible.
“It’s a cross between gold and a carnival atmosphere, with people being so patriotic, the Union Jack was flying out there – it was amazing.
“The whole week has been incredible. Representing Team GB and feeling like you’re bigger than just your individual sport is just incredible.
To come up with that pitch [on the 18th] when I needed it is magical. It was an amazing experience.
The competition is something I have been focused on, wanted to peak for, and has been at the forefront of my mind for the last few months.”
