Paul Casey is one of England’s finest golfers in the 21st Century, with 21 professional wins including 15 on the DP World Tour.
Casey was born in July 1977 in Cheltenham, before moving to Surrey where he grew up playing the game at Foxhills. He went on to play collegiate golf at Arizona State University, winning three consecutive Pac-12 Championships and breaking the scoring record by an incredible five shots.
After graduating in 2000, he immediately became a star on the European (now DP World) Tour. He was the Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year in 2001, his first full season on the tour, thanks to his maiden victory. The Englishman has gone on to win 15 times on the DP World Tour, along with three wins on the PGA Tour. He now plies his trade in the LIV Golf League, playing for Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC, winning the LIV Golf Team Championship with the quartet in 2023.
Along the team lines, Casey has featured five times for Europe in the Ryder Cup, and is one of just six men to have ever made an ace in the competition. He also represented England in the WGC-World Cup, winning the tournament in 2004, along with playing for Great Britain at the postponed Tokyo Olympics.
