Linn Grant is one of the rising talents of women’s golf, with 11 professional titles to her name before the age of 25.

Grant has family ties to golf, with both her father and grandfather enjoying success in the sport. She was born in Helsingborg in 1999, winning the Ladies British Amateur Stroke Play Championship, and being part of winning Swedish teams at the European Girls Amateur Championship and European Ladies Amateur Championships during her amateur career.

After spending four years at Arizona State University, where she won four times and was a two-time All-American, Grant graduated and turned professional in 2021. She had already won twice on the Swedish Golf Tour, and would soon become a Ladies European Tour star.

Grant won six times across the Sunshine Ladies Tour and the Ladies European Tour in 2022, topping the Order of Merit in both tours. She was also named Ladies European Tour Rookie of the Year and Ladies European Tour Player of the Year that same season. Not only that, but Grant’s victory at the Scandinavian Mixed was a history-making one, as she became the first woman to secure a win on the DP World Tour. The Swede then claimed her first LPGA Tour title in 2023, winning the Dana Open, before winning the Scandi Mixed for a second time in 2024.

Thanks to her performances over the two years prior to the 2023 Solheim Cup, the Swede secured an automatic place in the European team, and made her first appearance in the team competition as the home side retained the trophy with a 14-14 draw at Finca Cortesin.
