The final round of the PGA Championship is always an exciting day in golf, just like every final day of a major championship.

In 2025, Scottie Scheffler held a three-shot lead after 54 holes at Quail Hollow in Charlotte. He shot a 65 in round three to take full control of the event, and he went on to lift the Wanamaker trophy for the first time.

It is the second major championship of the year. It is now played in May when it used to be in August and carry the name of ‘Glory’s Last Shot’. It also contains a very large field of stars from the PGA Tour, the DP World Tour, the LIV Golf League and also the very best PGA Professionals in the United States.

The final round of a major tournament is absolutely crucial, to state the completely obvious. If you can’t follow up on your first three days of work to put yourself near the top of the leaderboard, you are immediately on the back foot and have too much ground to make up.

Alex Smalley led after three rounds at Aronimink this time around, on 6-under-par and two shots clear of five players on 4-under-par.

Below are the times for the final round of the 2026 PGA Championship…
