35 events and a total prize fund of more than $131 million. That’s what the world’s top women golfers will be playing for in 2025 after the LPGA Tour announced another record-breaking schedule.
The 2025 season will celebrate the LPGA Tour’s 75th anniversary, with the total prize fund for the schedule having risen almost 90% in just four years.
The tour will visit 14 US states and 11 countries, including multi-event swings in Asia in February and March, and later in the season in October and November.
The major season will kick off in April in Texas with The Chevron Championship, followed by the US Women’s Open the following month. The KMPG Women’s PGA Championship and the Amundi Evian Championship follow, with the final major of the season being the AIG Women’s Open, which will be held at the Welsh venue of Royal Porthcawl in August.
As always, the season will come to its conclusion at the CME Group Tour Championship, which will boast the biggest non-major prize fund of the season at a whopping $11 million.
Mollie Marcoux Samaan, LPGA Commissioner, said: “The 2024 season was another year of historic growth for the LPGA Tour, and with this 2025 schedule we will continue to improve on that growth.
“This schedule is highlighted by two exciting new events, a new multi-year title for the longest-running non-major tournament on the LPGA Tour, even higher purse sizes, increased benefits that will enhance the athlete experience, improved geographical flow and a longer off-season that will give our athletes a well-deserved rest after their tremendous work in 2024.”
