Just like the PGA Tour, we also have LIV events either side of the US Open. The first of those is LIV Golf Nashville this week.

This is the first time that the LIV Golf League will visit Nashville, and the final event in a three week run which features two LIV events and the US Open in the middle.

The Grove will play host to the three-day competition. LIV Golf’s CEO Greg Norman was the man behind the design of the course, which sits in the heart of Tennessee.

The event will be the fourth to be held in the United States in 2024, but who will take home the title come Sunday evening?

Frequently Asked Questions about LIV Golf Nashville

When and where will LIV Golf Nashville take place?

LIV Golf Nashville 2024 will take place from June 21-23. The event will follow the third men’s major of the season – the US Open – and will be held at The Grove in Nashville.

Who has won in the LIV Golf League this season?

Joaquin Niemann is the only two-time winner in the LIV Golf League in 2024, and he leads the Individual Standings by 36 points thanks to those victories in Mayakoba and Jeddah.

Dustin Johnson, Abraham Ancer, Dean Burmester, Brendan Steele, Brooks Koepka and Carlos Ortiz – who won last time out in Houston – are the other six men to have been victorious in the LIV Golf League in 2024 so far.

How does LIV Golf work?

LIV Golf is different to any other major golf tour. There are only 54 players, who play across a 54-hole tournament over three days.

13 teams of four, plus two wildcards (one of which saw the long-anticipated return of Anthony Kim in Jeddah), along with free agency, trades and much more…

Confused? Take a look at our full guide to how LIV Golf works here.

What does the schedule look like for LIV Golf in 2024?

Unlike the PGA Tour or DP World Tour, LIV Golf only features 14 events across the calendar year, while making space for those that can to play in the four major championships.

Mention a European country, and Matt will tell you which resorts make the National Club Golfer Top 100s: European Resorts list. He might even throw in who designed the golf course and how many rooms the hotel has got at each one…

Matt got into the game of golf from a young age, following his old man to the local golf club. He fell for the sport, and now can’t seem to go a day without thinking about how to improve his game (Thanks Dad!). Matt has been a member of Howley Hall GC in Leeds since 2020, and is just about managing to maintain a single-figure handicap. He likes to remind people that he once broke 75, but won’t tell people that it was on a shortened course during the winter.

He moved to Leeds after graduating from the University of Central Lancashire with a First Class Honours degree in Sports Journalism. Matt joined NCG after almost five years travelling the world with the Professional Squash Association, working on events in all four corners of the globe.

Matt currently plays a Cobra King LTDx driver and RadSpeed 3-wood. TaylorMade monopolise the rest of his bag, with a SIM UDI, M5 irons and both Milled Grind and HI-TOE wedges, along with a Monza Redline putter. He uses a Vice Pro Plus golf ball, because he’s a bit different…

Away from golf, Matt is a Manchester United fan, and a keen runner, having ran the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon (his first and possibly last), in May 2023.
