Ludvig Aberg is one of the best golfers in the world and his rise to the top of the game came almost instantly after turning professional.
In 2023, Aberg turned professional and later that year, he made his debut at the Ryder Cup for Team Europe against the United States at Marco Simone in Rome.
He’d impressed captain Luke Donald with his incredible college golf record plus his progress on the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour. He won the Omega European Masters shortly before Donald made the decision to give the young Swedish star a wildcard pick.
Aberg made history in the Saturday foursomes when he and his partner Viktor Hovland beat Brooks Koepka and Scottie Scheffler 9&7, which is the largest margin of victory in a single match in Ryder Cup history.
He won the RSM Classic on the PGA Tour at the end of 2023 and went on to come second on his Masters debut in 2024. For some time, his girlfriend Olivia Peet has been by his side.

Ludvig Aberg wife-to-be? Meet his girlfriend Olivia Peet
Aberg attended Texas Tech University, as did Olivia Peet which would suggest the pair met together during their studies and while Aberg was building his generational college golf trophy list.
It’s reported that Peet was born in Manchester. She attended Queenswood Girls School, according to her LinkedIn page, and started at Texas Tech University in 2018 as a Bachelor of Science.
She then did a Masters degree in Sport and Fitness Administration and Management at Texas Tech. Unlike her partner, Peet appeared to excel as a tennis player.
Peet was Texas Tech Women’s tennis captain and a student-athlete for the duration of her five-year stint at the university. Before her travels to the States, Peet was a nationally ranked player in England.

In the summer of 2023, Peet was a tennis teaching professional at The Racquet Club in Midland, Texas and she was also a tennis coach at Texas Tech University. She is still a tennis coach and an associate director of the Athletics Annual Fund and Premium Seating at the university.
In September 2024, Aberg posted a picture of the pair together at a Texas Tech college football match and earlier in the summer, they attended Wimbledon together which is a tradition enjoyed by his Ryder Cup teammate Tommy Fleetwood too.
Back in 2023, the pair also shared a moment on the Spanish steps in Rome before Aberg burst on to the Ryder Cup scene. It’s fair to assume they’ll be sharing more incredible memories in his golf career and celebrating a hell of a lot more trophy ceremonies.
