Justin Thomas has been one of the best players in the world since joining the PGA Tour for the first time in 2015.
He joined the tour after turning professional in 2013. It didn’t take the American long to become one of the top players, winning for the first time at the CIMB Classic in the 2015/2016 season.
In the following season, Thomas enjoyed the best season of his career. He won five times on the PGA Tour which included his first major title at the PGA Championship held at Quail Hollow.
Thomas doubled his major tally at the 2022 PGA Championship at Southern Hills where he beat Will Zalatoris in a playoff. This was his first and only major win alongside his caddie Jim ‘Bones’ McKay too.
He made his debut for Team USA at the Ryder Cup in 2018 and at the Presidents Cup in 2017. Thomas has earned talismanic status for his country in these team events where he has shown immense passion and his best game.
Throughout much of his career, his partner Jillian Wisniewski has been by his side and in 2017 when Thomas opened his major account, he told Jillian to change her flight time to North Carolina, as he just had a feeling.

Justin Thomas wife Jillian flew in to see him win his first major title
“I had just the most comforting, easygoing – I truly felt like I was going to win. I remember my girlfriend was supposed to fly out at about 7:00 and I was like, “You need to change your flight to later because I don’t know, I just feel like I don’t want you to miss this. I feel like I’m going to get it done.”
“She knows the first — she’s the first person to tell you that I don’t want to talk about golf when I get in that situation. So I don’t know, I just was very confident.”

Jillian is from Kentucky, like Justin, and she graduated with a BA in journalism from the university of that very state. She then began work for McGarry Bowen which is an advertising agency based in Chicago.
In an interview with PEOPLE at the start of 2022, Thomas spoke about his relationship with Jillian who he hadn’t quite yet married.
“I’m so fortunate that she is as patient and kind of halts her life for the lifestyle that I live. We’ve got a lot of great fond memories to look forward to down the road.”
The pair got married in November 2022 in a very low-key affair. They insisted on a no-photos rule and wanted to keep the day as private as possible in Franklin, Tennessee.
Thomas posted a picture of the pair at Christmas 2022 which was captioned: “First Christmas as a married couple. We hope y’all have a great day with your loved ones! Merry Christmas.”
Jillian gave birth to their first child Molly Grace on November 18, 2024.
