Heading to Royal Portrush or wondering what conditions the world's best will face at the Open? NCG has you covered
It’s not uncommon to see all four seasons during one tournament, so what is the Open weather forecast looking like ahead of its return to Royal Portrush?
We’ve seen washouts, high speed winds and absolute scorchers, like at Carnoustie in 2018, but the unpredictability of the weather helps to make it so special.
The exposed links courses on the Open rota mean that only those who are able to manage their game in the conditions will succeed.
As always, we are hoping that there will be blazing sunshine from start to finish, with some nice gusts of wind thrown in to keep things tricky.
However, we know this may not be the case, and we’ll have to see what comes our way.
