The best golf shot-tracking systems for 2018
Best golf shot-tracking systems: NCG verdict
Prior to testing, we were quite apprehensive about the whole game-tracking process.
Golf can be difficult enough without the added distraction and hassle. And sometimes we’d rather not go through all the gory details of a bad round.
But what we’ve found from each of these devices is that they are no real hassle to set up or operate and can really help you improve.
If you’re serious about lowering your handicap, these devices are perfect for highlighting areas for improvement. The evidence is there in black and white.
You can then take that data to a PGA pro and get some lessons in the areas that will knock shots off your scores.
If you’re not a fan of the whole tagging idea then the Arccos 360 and Shot Scope systems will be best for you.
Don’t like the idea of a wristband? Go for the Arccos. Don’t want to be reliant on your phone? Go for Shot Scope.
If you’re happy to tag, we recommend the SkyCaddie Linx GT as you’re getting a superb GPS watch as part of the package
