The best golf shot-tracking systems for 2018
Best golf shot-tracking systems: Sky Caddie Linx GT
How it works: This system involves a fully-functional GPS watch which also has a game-tracking feature.
Sensors are added to the grips then you sync your clubs to the watch and a mobile app by tapping them on the watch.
When out on the course, tap a club onto the watch before each shot.
Pros: The watch is brilliant in its own right. You don’t have to use the game-tracking function every time.
When using the game-tracking, it’s very quick and easy to operate and all data syncs with the mobile app immediately for instant scores and feedback.
Every time you tap it gives you the distance from the previous tap so you know how far you’ve hit each shot.
SkyCaddie ground-map all their courses to ensure accuracy whereas many other devices use satellite imagery.
Cons: The sign-up and registration process. There are also two apps to download. One which helps with the basic shot-tracking when out on the course and another which houses your main account for more detailed round stats.
SRP: £299.95
