The best golf shot-tracking systems for 2018
Best golf shot-tracking systems: Mobitee GPS Golf Assistant from PIQ
How it works: A small device attaches easily to the velcro strap on your glove and tags are then added to the butt of the grip of each club in your bag. Everything is synced together using a free mobile app.
Before each shot, tap the tag on the club on to the device attached to your glove and repeat the process for each shot.
Pros: The app can provide detailed flyover maps and hole information as you go. The device on your glove can also give you a distance to the middle of the green meaning you don’t have to get your phone out.
An array of data is gathered about your longest drives, distance you hit each club, putts per round and so on, and stored in your profile on the app.
The device can also provide data about your golf swing.
Cons: Some players won’t be fond of tapping a club onto their hand for every shot. Also, you can feel the device on your hand at all times which some people may find off-putting.
SRP: £229
