It’s important that your feet are comfortable, so Hannah Holden has run down the best socks you can buy
It’s Socktober! And you know what they say, you should always take a spare pair of socks when playing golf – in case you get a hole-in-one. Sorry. Here are the best golf socks your money can buy right now.
We’ll start with the long socks…
Best golf socks: FootJoy
The TechSof Tour Crew is probably the most popular socks in golf. You know what you’re getting here. Immense comfort, warmth, and did I say comfort?

The Ribbed is perfect if you’re after something that stands out. I love the texture and patterning here. And don’t worry, they have a wide range of colours if yellow doesn’t tickle your fancy.

Best golf socks: Under Armour
The Drive Crew socks features a cushioned arch support which Under Armour say helps to reduce foot fatigue. If you’re after something a little bolder they’re also available in red.

The Dunbar is a classic golf sock style these feature cushioning to protect against shocks and impact. They are also exceptionally soft.

Best golf socks: FootJoy
No one wants that dreaded feeling of your sock slipping down mid round. The ProDry Roll Tab feature anatomically shaped foot-beds to keep your sock in place throughout your round. Science!
They also come in women’s. These are my go-to socks, especially if I’m wearing shorts. They are extremely comfy thanks to inbuilt cushioning.
