Callaway All Over Chev Print Polo review: First Impressions
The classic golf polo shirt is constantly evolving over time, with plain polos being a thing of the past.
Let’s take a moment to admire Callaway’s iconic chevron pattern found all over this polo. There’s that many of them, the shirt’s design almost looks more like it resembles a polka-dot pattern!
It’s enough to catch the eye but not overbearing, with the official Callaway logo towards the bottom of the right sleeve.
Pulling it on, it was immediately clear just how much time and effort Callaway plough into making their polo shirts a notch above the rest. I am fairly tall and thin and generally wear a small in t-shirts and polos. I honestly couldn’t find a fault with the fit of this top, and felt amazing with the Callaway shorts, too.

Callaway are champions of producing high quality, performance-packed garments, and I can tell you one thing for sure: this piece feels like just that. I couldn’t wait to try this out on the course.
Callaway All Over Chev Print Polo review: On the Course
The best part about testing day was it was warm enough to wear this polo by itself. Hello Spring!
Callaway say the Chev Print Polo is made from 92% polyester and 8% elastane. You can really feel the stretchiness of the elastane come through when you’re swinging the club. It’s quite liberating, actually!
Performance aside, the comfort levels of this polo shirt are second-to-none. The jersey fabrication is soft and smooth, meaning you can play your best whilst feeling super snug at the same time.

This polo shirt will see a lot of use when it’s hot, and the sweat factor comes into play. Fortunately for us wearers, it’s equipped with Opti Dry technology with Swing-Tech to boot. This means the shirt wicks away moisture to keep you dry when you sweat, but could also be useful if it does rain. But I wouldn’t recommend using this by itself when the weather is on the poorer side.
Furthermore, its built-in sun protection prevents harmful UV rays from penetrating the fabric of the golf top, helping to protect covered skin on sunny days spent outdoors.
Anyway, it’s my favourite polo shirt yet. And I actually think it’s Callaway’s golf polo shirts ever made.
Callaway All Over Chev Print Polo shirt review: The 19th hole
When it’s hot, polo shirts are suitable to wear all the time. When it’s not, don’t bother, unless it’s under an outerlayer.
With that in mind, it’s an incredibly good looking shirt, as I’m sure you’ll agree. Polo shirts are suitable to wear on any occasions that require something casul and relaxed. In my life, that’s down at my local or out for a meal.

It’s also one of those magical garments that don’t need ironing when they come out of the machine. Simply put it on after line drying it and go play some golf. Why can’t life be that simple all the time?
