Taylormade is back for 2026 with a new range of putters, Systm2. The range is made up of seven new putters, a mixture of blades and mallets. Renowned for their famous Spider putters, that is popular amongst tour players – what does the Systm2 putters have to offer? Nicola Slater got her hands on two of the blades to find out. Taylormade Systm2 Putter Review: NCG Summary
NCG SUMMARY
Taylormade has already seen five tour wins in 2026 with their Spider collection of putters so what does Systm2 offer? Well, these premium milled putters are constructed using soft 304 stainless steel. The grooves have been crafted using a saw cutter to create perfectly even depths.
Off the face it produces a crisp sound with a firm feel. This is a putter for a golfer who likes feedback when putting.

First Impressions
Whilst the Systm2 line up does consist of both blades and mallets – I have two blade models to test. The Soto is a traditional blade and then Del Monte a wider blade.
The design of these differ to a lot of new putters that I’m seeing with a two tone finish. The satin scratch finish of the face is contrasted with the black PVD back.
The satin finish of the front of also there for durability. It’s undergone a hydro blast finish to help maintain it’s premium appearance over time.
The face also has unique feature having the screws on display – visually I’m not a huge fan of this but over the ball you can’t see it.
NCG Verdict
Out on the course this putter looked great. Both the Juno and Del Monte have very simple alignment aids – a small line at the centre back of the head.
The head is divided between a black and silver design. This isn’t just for looks Taylormade have done this to create a clear visual separation. This helps golfers frame the ball at address through to impact. I did find this to be useful and gave a point of visual fixation over the ball.
This is a milled face putter and as you would expect it produces a firm strike off of the face. The sound produced is also very crisp especially on those long range putter. The face has been fly cut and a saw cutter has then been used to create specific consistent depths.

Taylormade has used a Lampkin deep etched grip that has a slim design. Its branded front looks great and it compliments the traditional blade styling. It also really helps with the feel and response in the stroke.
Final Verdict
Overall, these blade putters offer a nice crisp sound and feel off of the face. They’re great for players who like to get plenty of response and feedback when on the greens.
In terms of the whole Systm2 line up it’s great to see a range of neck bends so there is something to suit all golfers.
