First Impressions
This new bag from Motocaddy came in a black/grey colour with blue detailing to the zips. It’s one of five colour options in the UK but, to my mind, it didn’t look particularly interesting. There is a ‘Limited Edition’ version available in blue/white or black/white, which I think looks so much better and is currently available at the same price on the Motocaddy website.
Aside from the appearance, the Dry-Series looked well put-together, with smooth-running zips, sturdy zipper pulls and well-positioned grab handles.
Fourteen way top
The redesigned 14-way top with full length dividers offers easy club access. The putter well is now jumbo-sized to allow for the ubiquitous fat putter grip. All the other clubs sat nicely in their slots with no banging or rattling as I strode over the course.
Pockets
Motocaddy tells us that this bag has 9 pockets. I think this is an understatement. There are at least 10, or maybe even 11, if you count the pen-holder as some companies do.
On each side of the bag, there is a full-length apparel pocket.
Just lateral to that is a velour-lined valuables pocket (on each side) and then a further pocket for a layer or snack. There is a nicely sized central ball pocket, which opens widely . This is accessible on the move which is a good thing. Covering the ball-pocket, there is a large open pocket which is designated as a scorecard holder. However it isn’t waterproof so is a fine-weather option only. Just above the large ball pocket is a spacious insulated cooler pocket. This will easily fit a couple of water bottles and snacks. And up towards the top of the bag, there is a rigid pocket suitable for rangefinder or other distance measuring device.

I would have preferred a little accessories pocket where I could keep ball markers, replacement rangefinder battery and pencils. So I have utilized one of the valuables pockets for that task.
All in all, you’ve got loads of storage space for waterproofs, towels, snacks etc. All pockets are generally wide opening with decent zippers, all of which ran smoothly.
There’s the usual pen holder, velcro glove holder (who uses those?) and ring for your towel which also has a bottle opening function.
How I undertook the review
To assess the performance and usability of the bag, I conducted hands-on testing across four different rounds at my local golf course, where I am a member. I played in universally hot and sunny weather, so was unable to test the wet weather performance.
During each round, I evaluated the bag’s performance, ease of use, durability, and storage capacity.

What I found
Moving it about
It’s easy to get in and out of the back of my car, courtesy of well-placed grab handles. It is designed to take a full set of clubs. It fits easily onto my Cube trolley. The EASILOCK system is neat and works well.
Rain Hood
There is a waterproof rain hood which is lightweight and easy to fit by means of two press studs, supplemented by velcro closures. However it is fairly close fitting and has a single zip opening which means that you have to expose all your clubs when reaching for the driver. I think it could be a bit better designed.
The pockets
These are a real strength of the bag. There is loads of storage space and I particularly liked the large cooler and the rangefinder pockets.
Waterproof qualities
This bag is designated as waterproof. I have not been able to test these qualities as we are basking in a heatwave! Previous experience with Motocaddy waterproof bags has been invariably positive. I will report back should I have any concerns, when it starts raining.
NCG Final Say
So, to summarise, the Motocaddy Dry-Series 2026 delivers on just about all fronts. Although it is quite large, it is lightweight and easily manoeuvrable on my push trolley.
Historically I have always been a carry-bag devotee. However increasing years and various minor musculoskeletal ailments have nudged me towards the trolley/cart bag. And apart from the rather plain looks of the standard Dry-Series (don’t forget the Limited Edition), this is a very likeable and easy to use bag. I think it will see plenty of use over the coming months in all weather conditions. I think I might need to invest in an umbrella attachment for my Cube trolley as the rain hood is less than perfectly designed.
How it compares to other bags
Golf manufacturers are nothing if not smart. Because my trolley is a Motocaddy (QB2) with the EASILOCK system, it is hard to look past the Dry-Series range. The 2025 version still performs well and comes in about £100 cheaper than the current model.
The only other bag worth considering, given my trolley, is the highly rated Titleist Cart 14 StaDry.
If you don’t have a Motocaddy trolley, then, along with the Titleist Cart 14 StaDry, there is also the BIG MAX Aqua range to consider.

If you have a PowaKaddy trolley, then the Dri TECH is a strong performer. It has the MAG-LOK attachment system, is lightweight and markedly more colourful than the Motocaddy Dri-Series.
So there are few options to consider. I’m very happy with the Dry-Series due to its ease of use and great storage capacity. It comes highly recommended.
