First Impressions
My first impression of the Performance Hoodie was that the colourway was very cool. It has very subtle skulls that, from further away, almost look like a camo effect.
Casual in style, this piece looks equally good on or off the course.
On Course
Walking to the first tee in a hoodie felt like a statement; I’m not part of the old-fashioned crew.
The fabric was very stretchy, so it was easy to swing the club and the hood did not get in the way at all. In fact, it provided extra relief from the wind as it acted like a snood around the back of my neck.
Being over 6ft tall, the UK large was the perfect size for me. The sleeves were a good length, and the top didn’t ride up when swinging into my follow-through – something other items on the market do.
The colourway and style won’t be for everyone, but the quality of the fabric and the design itself are top class.
This is definitely a great addition to my golf wardrobe. I like the fact that it is very light, so can easily be put in your bag to take off and on as the weather changes.
The 19th hole
I will definitely use the Peter Millar Performance Hoodie off the course. The casual style of the hoodie means you look great on the course and can leave it on for whatever else the day brings.
