Titleist has unveiled its new GTS drivers and fairway woods, introducing more adjustability, faster ball speeds, and improved forgiveness

For years, Titleist drivers have been some of the most played models on tour.

Now they have introduced a new range of drivers and fairway woods designed to deliver more speed, more stability, and more adjustability than ever before.

Headlined by the new GTS2, GTS3, and GTS4 drivers, the latest Titleist metal woods builds on the success of the previous GT models.

Alongside the drivers, Titleist has also unveiled new GTS2 and GTS3 fairway woods.

Here’s a complete lowdown on everything that is new for 2026…

What’s new?

Let’s start off with the headline makers; the drivers.

The biggest technology change here from previous years is the introduction of a redesigned Split Mass Frame construction. This is combined with a full thermoform body and made from Titleist’s Proprietary Matrix Polymer (PMP).

Titleist believes the new construction allows there to be more discretionary weight throughout the club head. Weight has been concentrated both low and forward to improve the speed and launch, while additional mass has also been positioned further back to increase stability and forgiveness.

This is no minor tweak. Compared to the previous GT range, the new GTS drivers contain double the amount of PMP material.

The drivers also feature a new Speed Sync face design, which has been engineered to improve ball speeds across the face, particularly on strikes high on the club face. Refined aerodynamic shaping has also been introduced to reduce drag and help golfers generate more club head speed.

Inspired by tour player feedback, high-contrast face graphics have also been added to help golfers frame the ball more confidently at address.

Onto the fairway woods.

The most significant technology change here is the addition of new wraparound composite crowns. This is designed save weight and allow the centre of gravity to be lower and deeper within the club head.

According to Titleist, this helps produce higher launch, lower spin, and increased forgiveness.

Both fairway wood models also feature new adjustable heel-toe weighting systems, flatter sole designs for improved turf interaction, and a forged L-Cup face designed to preserve speed and launch conditions on low-face strikes.

Which model is right for you?

Starting with the GTS2 driver. This is the most forgiving option in the new line-up.

It’s a driver most suited to those looking for maximum stability and consistent speed across the face. The club head also features a larger, more confidence-inspiring profile compared to the other models in the range.

Whereas the GTS3 driver is aimed at golfers who want greater control over launch, spin, and ball flight.

Compared to the GTS2, the GTS3 features a more compact shape and a deeper face profile, which helps produce a lower launch and lower spin rates.

The GTS4 driver is the lowest spinning option in the range. This is the ideal model for golfers looking to extract a bit more distance off the tee.

It comes equipped with a full 460cc head size, which Titleist believes significantly improves forgiveness on off-centre strikes.

As far as the fairway woods are concerned, there is a model less to choose from.

The GTS2 fairway wood is designed for golfers with a more sweeping strike pattern.

It features a shallower face and larger profile than the GTS3, helping players launch the ball more easily from both the tee and the turf.

In comparison, the GTS3 fairway wood features a deeper face and a more compact profile. For those who strike the ball more aggressively, this will be a better match.

GTS on Tour

More than 50 players on the PGA TOUR and more than 30 on the DP World Tour have already moved into a new GTS2, GTS3 or GTS4 driver model since the lineup’s official debuts at the Texas Children’s Houston Open and Estrella Damm Catalunya Championship, including Justin Thomas (GTS2 9.0), Jordan Spieth (GTS2 10.0) and Bernd Wiesberger (GTS3 9.0).

Cameron Young had the GTS 7 wood in the bag when he won the Cadillac Championship by 6 strokes from Scottie Scheffler.
