The Under Armour ArmourDry Printed Polo fits wonderfully around the shoulders. Made with Under Armour’s UA Helix Technology it is the kind of material that doesn’t leave you feeling hot and sweaty on a sunny day yet keeps you warm when the sky clouds over.
In the past I have struggled with golf shirts that cling, their flexible nature means they lose their shape and leave you looking dishevelled. This product, despite having a tech-feel keeps its shape and has a very smart outline. With a variety of different patterns and colours this shirt will look smart on and off the golf course.
Overall, I would recommend this shirt to anyone that likes the design. The pattern I wore was quite eccentric, although there are multiple different types on the Under Armour website to choose from. The fit is comfortable with enough room to swing but with a smart tailored finish. I am 5’9 and the shirt had plenty of length to tuck into my trousers.

Under Armour Drive Pleated Trousers
If you’re looking for hip golf clothes, then these are the trousers for you. Baggy, loose fit trousers seem to be the trend these days. A trend that golf has appeared to jump on.
I have also opted to wear more slim fit golf trousers as I have felt more comfortable in them, but these intrigued me with their unique style. I don’t mind wearing stuff that breaks the mould of what golf wear has been typically in the past and these golf trousers definitely fall into that category.
Under Armour say they are designed to allow golfers to move freely in them. Made from a mobile fabric and a streamline fit to reduce drag on every swing, they have performance at the forefront of their design. I think this will appeal to a lot of golfers and I found it worked well.

Under Armour Drive Pro Hybrid Gilet
Starting my golfing journey in much warmer climes, warm gear and gilets were never on the top of my must haves. The wonderfully unpredictable weather in the British Isles however have made a believer out of me and only in the recent past have I come to appreciate a good gilet – allowing a warm core while allowing freedom to swing restriction free.
This product seems a sensible golf gilet with performance features that are pretty well judged for UK golf conditions – with US storm water resistance, stretch-woven outer, soft fleece lining and spacer panels for mobility. It will keep you warm, keep the drizzle off without turning into a stiff body warmer that fights your swing!
This gilet fits true and has a slightly looser cut. It will be best for cool spring and autumn days over a polo or a mid layer.

The Under Armour Drive Lightweight 1/2 zip is a great option if you’re looking for a comfortable, modern layer that works well both on and off the course. Under Armour Performance Tech Socks
Let’s start with a confession: I wouldn’t be the biggest fan of crew socks. I’m forever trying to pull them up. But Under Armour’s Performance Tech Socks are giving me pause for thought. I might just change my mind.
The company say they’re equipped with a new Locked-In Fit design to keep the sock fitted to your heel during movement – and they absolutely deliver on that front. Slipping these on is like putting your hand into a glove.

I have always been of the belief that a loose fit is always best when it comes to golf clothes. I need all the help I can get on the golf course without having to compete with my own golf clothes to produce consistent swings, I have a big enough fight as it is against my slice on every tee box.
The good news is that the designers at Under Armour must understand these concerns. This lightweight hoodie is nicely loosely fitted, not to the point that it feels like it dropping off your body but so that it doesn’t impact on your game neither.
I know summer is on the way and hopefully plenty of warm weather, but just in case we get some stereotypical British weather this year you can still hit the golf course knowing that this is equipped with Under Armour’s Storm technology. This tech helps to repel water.

Golf shorts are a strange bit of apparel. They are only really necessary for a select few weeks every year and that’s being generous, but any self-respecting golfer has a pair or two. Under Armour is a brand I have always found reliable in producing quality bits of golf wear.
These tapered golf shorts definitely fit that bill. I thought they were light and super-comfortable. I’m someone who prefers they’re golf shorts and trousers to have a tapered fit over a loose or regular fit. These have exactly that.
Although they have a tighter fit than other options, they still provide plenty of freedom of movement. The four-way stretch material allows golfers to move in every direction for better performance.

Under Armour UA Drive Mid Cap
Most of tend to wear hats when the sunny weather hits, yet surprisingly many hats don’t offer much ventilation from the heat. The Under Armour Drive Mid Cap is perfect for when the high UK summer temperatures hit or when travelling abroad. The spacer mesh back and side panel offers incredible ventilation to prevent you getting too sweaty. It also contributes towards an incredibly lightweight design.
It offers a high level of comfort and for the most part, you forget it is on your head.
The hat also has a sleeve on the side for a tee. Given that most of carry more than 1 during a round I didn’t make much use of it, although it is there if you need it and may provide quick access for a pencil instead.
The flat brim of the hat may not be to everyone’s liking; it isn’t necessarily the kind of thing I would typically go for. But for those that like the style I would thoroughly recommend.

Under Armour UA Drive Midlayer Pullover
Under Armour is now a well established brand for golf shoes and apparel. The brand offers well made fitting golf gear packed with features such as UV protection, stretch materials all wrapped in a styling package for golfers keen on good looks and performance.
This quarter zip pullover in Refresh Mint is great golf layering option. It provides performance comfort and is a soft stretchy mid layer.
The fabric is sweat-wicking and fast drying. It will allow playing a round of golf without feeling clammy at the end. The branding is quite minimalist with a single logo at the bottom of the zip. I found this to be an attractive mid layer which was surprisingly warm on the cool spring morning of the review.
The 4 way stretch material with the loose cut allows easy movement. This is a reliable mid layer with a comfort first design.
This mid layer fits true to size with a relaxed rather than a fitted look. I expect that it will be a constant feature in my golf attire this spring!
I especially like the soft feel of the fabric and the ease of movement and comfortable fit. This will be my go to grab and go quarter zip!

Under Armour Drive Wind Vest
Golf is no fun when you are cold. It is also not fun when your layered up so much you can hardly swing. The Under Armour Drive Wind Vest aims to solve both these two issues, and I must say – it very much succeeds.
The Vest is stylish and practical. You feel comfortable wearing this outside of the golf course, and its light weight makes it easy to pack into the golf bag without weighing you down. My initial concern with the vest was the absence of a zip. However, the four-way stretch material makes it easy to pull over your golf top and I found that I preferred the simple design.
The vest is primarily a windbreaker, at which it is brilliant. It keeps you warm and significantly reduces the windchill. The durable 3-layer bonded fabric is also water resistant, a very useful feature for any golfer in the UK. Although not waterproof, it will keep you dry up to the point where you would reach for your jacketand wet-weather gear.

UA Drive Chill Printed Polo
Jordan Spieth and I have got a lot in common. Well, one thing. We’re both sporting Under Armour’s UA Drive Chill Printed Polo shirt.
I normally flock to Under Armour because they’re a premium-feeling product at an affordable price.
But at £60, the Drive Chill Printed Polo is definitely in the higher regions of what I’d want to be paying given the options out there in the market. So, what are you getting for your money?
This polo feels very durable. We’re used to light and breezy in tech-polos these days but there is a sturdiness to this fabric that is noticeable the moment you hold it in your hands. Under Armour say it’s designed with a “structured fit” to offer “ultra comfort and breathability”.
It does very well in both aspects. The pattern is also striking, without your playing partners needing to reach for their sunglasses, and it does a good job of taking moisture away from your skin.
I tested the loose fit model and noticed it more around the arms than the body. But don’t mistake loose for baggy.

UA ArmourDry Jacquard Polo
I have always found Under Armour polos to fit really well. This is no different. But what it does differ from other Under Armour polos I have worn in the past and that’s down to the way it feels. It has a more premium feel to it than their sportier offerings.
Good news for us British golfers is that it is designed to dry 50% faster than their marquee UA Playoff Polo. Under Armour also say that this polo is made to look great untucked, if you are alright with that sort of look out on the golf course. I for one are not, shirt should be tucked in!
Visually, it looks like a modern bit of golfwear. That works for me. I like the bit patterning, although I must confess I don’t exactly know what it is. And who doesn’t like a bit of pink in their golf clothes?

UA Drive Tour Golf Glove
I must confess that I am not overly fussy when it comes to what golf glove, I wear. I have no preference towards a certain brand. If it’s comfortable, I’ll wear it.
This is the first Under Armour golf glove I have ever owned. Under Armour claim that this is a tour-level offering, which is a good start I suppose. I have no reason not to believe them because it was as good of a golf glove that I can remember using.
They feel comfortable to wear and to grip the club. The brand credit their updated seamless thumb construction for this better feel. At no point did I feel as though the club would slip out of my hands. I am yet to wear it during a wetter round, but I have no reason to have any concerns about how it’ll perform.

Best Under Armour Spring Summer Apparel – Women’s
Under Armour Drive Pleated Skort
This is a fairly plain white skort that’s brought to life with the 360° pleated design.
The waist band is relatively thin compared to most golf skorts and offers a simple double stripe to add something extra. The build in under shorts are pretty thick with sweat wicking technology and interior silicone grips to keep them put during your round.
The outer skirt is lightweight and floaty, there’s no pockets, but you do get two on the short’s underneath.
In terms of fit I wore a small, this is my typical size but i think i could have sized down as there was still some give in the waistband. I’m 5ft 9 and found this skort to fit at a respectable length.
I did find this sat at a mid to low waist rather than a lot of skort that are higher waisted.
Out on the course, I enjoyed wearing this skort it was very comfortable and easy to move in. I think the sporty design means it would also work great off the course more casually too.

Under Armour ArmourDry Polo
This polo from Under Armour has a texture unlike any other I’ve tested so far this season.
It’s a hybrid between jersey feel and a stretchy sports material. It’s a combination of 50% elasterell and 50% polyester.
It uses UA helix technology to wick away sweat as well as increasing drying time and airflow – drying 50% faster than the UA playoff polo.
You still get the same traditional collar and buttoned v neck but the fit is more modern being slightly shorter on the body so it can be worn untucked. I wore a small as per my usual size and based on how UA expect the top to fit, it does fit nicely – just more fitted/shorter than I’m use to from them.
The design is very nice; I like the premium silicone logo this adds a nice touch. The colourway I tested is also very spring, summer but there is a nice range of other options if this one doesn’t suit your eye.

Under Armour Drive Full Zip Hoodie
I love a casual jacket, I love it even more when I can play golf in one! This Full Zip Hoodie from Under Armour is great, it’s lightweight, breathable and easy to swing a club in, it also has pockets!
The light blue colour makes it great for those summer days and goes well with anything you may already have in your wardrobe. I’m a fan of brands who don’t go the generic floral print for women and this does just that. The sizing of this jacket is true to size however my only irk is that the body feels a little short, now I’m only 4’11 so feeling a little short comes naturally to me!
This jacket is easy to slip on and off should the weather turn and is lightweight so easy to pop in your bag and carry on your round without any added weight lugging you down. The material is also water-resistant should you get caught in the rain.
Swinging a club in this jacket is free and easy even when zipped up you can get a full range of movement as Under Armour uses 4-way stretch material.

Under Armour Women’s Iso Chill Golf Glove
The Under Armour Iso Chill glove offered a comfortable fit straight out of the packet.
The upper part of the glove has a large mesh area that covers the knuckles. This means that it’s got a great amount of flexibility and doesn’t feel overly restrictive.
This area is also very lightweight and with small aeration holes it gives chance for any heat to disperse.
I wore this glove out on the course over a couple of weeks, in different weather conditions and found that I never had to worry about sweaty hands.
The palm side of the glove is 100% sheep skin leather and has a soft, thin feel. I wore this glove in my standard size of a ladies large and it was spot on for size.
Overall, a comfortable golf glove that was did a great job and will be getting worn plenty more.
