Ecco Biom C5 Golf Shoes

- These Ecco shoes are exceptionally well constructed – a premium product
CONS
- They are a significant investment – but for us they will repay you in performance and longevity

Ecco BIOM H5

The ECCO Biom H5 is an incredibly resilient shoe suited to the golfer who plays a lot and wants to be able to concentrate on their game in the knowledge they can trust their footwear.
For those golfers who are (still!) not accustomed to wearing spikeless shoes, I can reassure you that the ECCO sole is extremely effective in my experience. There are few slippier surfaces than a close-cut links tee in the early-morning dew and I can assure that I experienced precisely no slippage in that exact situation.

I think they look great, too, but really for me it is about how they feel when I am wearing them. I feel close to the ground and engaged in my golf and I am in no rush whatsoever to take them off after 18 holes.
Pros:
- The durability – ECCO shoes always last well in my experience but these are next-level in that regard
- The shoes really wrap around the contours of your feet, which just don’t move inside the shoe
Cons:
- The visuals are probably quite a lot for some more traditional golfers to get used to

ECCO LT1

The Ecco LT1 golf shoe is a sound, long-term investment. I am confident that you will be wearing these shoes for years rather than months and they will still be performing at the highest level.
One of the things that I believe sets Ecco shoes apart is that they don’t lose their shape and fit as they get older. In my experience, they are as robust a year on as they were for the first round.
I never feel as though my feet are moving about either as I walk or when I am swinging. For any golfers who are more accustomed to spiked shoes, I can reassure you that the Ecco hybrid sole offers outstanding levels of traction. It doesn’t matter whether I am playing on a grassy parkland or a hard-baked links, I have never experienced any slippage when hitting shots or moving around the course.
Pros:
- Immediate comfort
- Boa ensures the perfect fit with no foot movement
- Incredibly light
Cons:
- Only the price tag

ECCO M Golf Biom G5

The spiked configuration and the appearance of the shoe really makes this an on-course shoe, although it is so comfortable that you’ll be in no rush to take them off after your round (or two).
I think the combination of the looks, comfort and performance means that this shoe will definitely be one that I wear over the next few months and beyond. The colour is suitable for winter use and Ecco offer a range of cleaning products on their website to keep your footwear in tip-top condition.
Pros:
- Very comfortable out of the box.
- Excellent grip and traction.
- Premium looks.
Cons:
- A bit pricey.
