Forged directly inside the 1025E steel framework is a re-engineered Titanium Muscle insert, which maintains thickness behind impact for solid feel, while allowing weight to be shifted to the perimeter to provide “full cavity” forgiveness.
A reworked steel framework also ensures that the body and insert work as one to maintain solidity at impact.
The Ti insert is engineered to create off-centre stability rather than launch forgiveness, trajectory is comparable to Mizuno’s more traditional tour irons.

NCG Verdict: They say that nothing feels like a Mizuno but for me it’s the sound (the two elements being closely linked) that sets the MP-15s apart.
No other iron is as pure an experience to hit, and no other iron offered me more consistency in terms of launch monitor numbers.
Put simply, you get out exactly what you put in. To me, that’s as much as you can ask for.
The top line on the longer clubs is a little intimidating compared to what I’m used to looking at but apart from that, they’re
close to perfect.
